Executive Chef Olivier Gaupin LOEWS ATLANTA HOTEL A native of Orléans, France, Gaupin joined Loews Atlanta Hotel in 2010 as Executive Chef and oversees Saltwood, the hotel’s small-plate-style restaurant featuring a charcuterie-driven menu and craft cocktails, along with the hotel’s banquet services and catering. A graduate of France’s CFA Charles Péguy School, Gaupin developed a passion for fine food and wine at an early age and followed in his uncle’s footsteps to pursue a career in the culinary field. Gaupin visited the U.S. for what was intended to be a three-week vacation and has now been sharing his culinary talents in the U.S., France and Switzerland for more than 20 years. International highlights include serving as chef de partie of the Michelin-rated Hotel Negresco in Nice, France; head chef for the defense minister in Paris; and chef de partie at the famed Hotel Stuva Colani in St. Moritz, Switzerland. In the U.S., Gaupin has led the kitchen in some of the country’s most distinguished restaurants and hotels including Provence Restaurant in Washington D.C., Pfister Hotel Milwaukee, Ritz Carlton Hotel Atlanta, Ritz Carlton Hotel St. Louis, Watersound Beach and Resort, Water Color Inn and Resort, and Alys Beach Resort. In 2013, Gaupin was inducted into the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France (Master Chef of France); one of only four chefs in Georgia to carry the distinguished title. In addition, he has received the Five Diamond Award from AAA, and has been noted in publications including Food Arts, Culinary Trend, St. Louis Magazine and Atlanta Magazine.

2018 MENU SELECTION INTRODUCTION

The following pages outline our selection of menus carefully designed by our Culinary Team.

Our team of Conference and Catering professionals will be happy to customize and tailor specialty menus upon request

including the substitution of vegetarian, gluten free and low carb / high protein items.

Food and Beverage Service: Loews Atlanta Hotel is the only authorized licensee to sell and serve food and beverage (including alcohol) on the premises. Therefore, all food and beverage must be supplied by the Hotel. This includes hospitality suites and food amenity deliveries. Taxes and Services Charges: The Hotel will add a 24% taxable service charge and 8.9% state sales tax on food and beverage, with an addition 3% sales tax on liquor. Such taxes and service charges are subject to change without notice. Buffets for smaller groups (as noted under each menu) are subject to a minimum taxable surcharge for breakfast, lunch and dinner which will be included in your final per person price.

Where noted that an Action Station is included in the menu, a Chef/Attendant is required at a fee of $150.00+ per 75 guests. For all bars there is a $150.00+ per bartender, per 75 guests. Menu Selection: To ensure that every detail is handled in a timely manner, the Hotel requests that the menu selections and event details be finalized four (4) weeks prior to the function. In the event the menu selections are not received four (4) weeks prior to the function, the hotel will select appropriate menus to fit your needs. You will receive a copy of the Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to which additions or deletions can be made. BEO’s must be signed and returned to the Conference or Catering Manager at least ten (10) business days in advance of the first event. The Banquet Event Orders serve as the food and beverage contract for the event. Guarantee: We need your assistance in making all of your events a success. Loews Atlanta Hotel requests that clients notify their Conference or Catering Manager with the final number of guests attending each function by 12:00pm seventy-two (72) business hours prior to the first function. Guarantees for Wednesday events must be confirmed by 12:00pm on the preceding Friday. If fewer than the guaranteed number of guests attend the function, the client will be charged for the original guaranteed number. Weather Call: The Hotel reserves the right to make the final decision regarding outdoor functions. The decision to move a function indoors will be made no less than four (4) hours prior to the event based on prevailing weather conditions and the local forecast. Audio Visual: The Hotel has a fully equipped audio-visual company on property, Presentation Services Audio Visuals (PSAV), who can handle any range of audio-visual requirements. PSAV handles all internet access and additional electrical power. Please contact your Conference or Catering Manager or PSAV directly for rates and information.

Hunter Cattle farm is family owned and operated. They are a “pastured and sustainable” farm which raises cattle, hogs and chickens without giving them antibiotics or hormones. All of their animals are raised and treated humanely. King of Pops is an Atlanta based popsicle company with a goal to provide an ecologically responsible,

fresh, all-natural frozen treat in a fun neighborhood environment. King of Pops started as a single cart in the Poncy-Highlands and has expanded to seven cities across the Southeast!

High Road Craft Ice Cream started in Atlanta as a group of chefs who made ice cream for other chefs to serve in restaurants, hotels and resorts. The focus: great flavor and luscious texture. Now, you can find High Road Craft Ice Cream in grocery stores and specialty food stores in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Revolution Gelato launched at Candler Park Market in July 2015. Known for making luxurious dairy-free gelato that lets you "have it all," Revolution Gelato is a delicious, healthy and planet-friendly dessert. Select flavors are now available at 26 stores and restaurants in the Atlanta area.

AtlantaFresh is dedicated to producing the highest quality dairy products using only farm-fresh milk from local, fully-pastured, grass-fed cows. No mass production, only small-batch, simple, good dairy products. Based in Norcross, GA, AtlantaFresh has broadened its reach throughout the Southeast and across the country!

H&F Bread Co. is an Atlanta based bakery that makes and sells artisanal breads. They currently supply bread and buns to many Atlanta-area restaurants, their goal, however, is simple “Great bread should not be limited to a select few. We want to put our products in areas where there is no fresh bread at all.”

Fairywood Thicket Farm is a small farm located in Fairburn, GA. Their specialties have grown from one spectacular Jelly, Elderberry (Mother Elder), to a unique group of hand-made Jams, Jellies and Chutneys, using an ever expanding selection of special fruits, hot peppers, and flowers. Woodsman and Wife is an Artisan Cheese Dairy in Douglasville, Georgia focusing on delicious, small batch, soft ripened, washed rind and seasonal cow milk cheeses.

Sweet Grass Diary is a company located in Thomasville, Georgia that produces old-world handcrafted

cheeses. They create artisan cheeses (including the award winning Green Hill) and distribute them

across the U.S. They utilize rotational grazing which keeps animals in open pastures instead of

on concrete barn floors.

Second Self is based in Atlanta, GA and was founded by two friends, Chris Doyle and Jason Santamaria, both Georgia Tech Grads with a passion for beer.
