2. Pins are distributed by the TXR

automa�cally between the upper

and lower pin beds, crea�ng a job

pa:ern. The pins in the lower bed

(right) support the blanks during

stripping, and pins in the upper bed

push down on the waste.

3. The blanking cycle takes 30 seconds (leB),

and over 200 sheets of cartonboard can

be processed in each cycle - even more

for thinner materials. The TXR can strip

paper, cartonboard, polypropylene and

many other plas�cs.

Origins of the TXR

From an idea conceived in the

early 1990s, Kawahara Packaging

created its first blanking machine

in order to solve delays at hand

stripping aBer jobs had been die-

cut. The machine became known

as the TXR Blank Separator.

Other print companies in Japan became

interested in the idea and so Kawahara

established TXR manufacturing and

service opera�ons to fulfil demand from

the domes�c market.

The early models (most of which are s�ll

running today) used a hydraulic system.

The modern TXR works through a

combina�on of pneuma�cs, electronics,

and a powerful Mitsubishi motor at its

heart.

ANC Machinery now serves as the export

arm for Kawahara sales worldwide and

the TXR has users in every con�nent. It

con�nues to win customers for its ease of

use, and the tremendous increases in

produc�vity it can provide.

A unique pin bed system using 4,000 pins for all types of sheet

layout. Simple, economic tooling that can be used again and again
