• A $10,000 grant for buying or building a new home.• The new home must be valued at $750,000 or less.• The contract must be signed on or after 1 July 2013.
• The property must be occupied as PPR for at least 12 months, commencing within 12 months of settlement orcompletion of construction.
First Home Buyer Duty Exemption or Concession
• A one-off duty exemption for a property valued up to $600,000, or a concession for a property with a dutiable valuefrom $600,001 to $750,000.
• The property must be occupied as PPR for at least 12 continuous months, commencing within 12 months of settlement.PPR Concession • Duty concession available to eligible home buyers whose property is valued up to $550,000.
• Eligible buyers must start using the property as PPR within 12 months of becoming entitled to possession of theproperty (usually at settlement).
• Eligible buyers must live in the property for a continuous period of at least 12 months.Off-the-Plan Duty Concession • A duty concession for off-the-plan purchase and House and Land package for buyers who are eligible for either First
Home Buyer Duty Exemption or Principal Place of Residence Concession.• If eligible, the dutiable value is the contract price minus the construction or refurbishment costs incurred on or after the
contract date.
• New temporary threshold of $1 million was introduced for the off-the-plan concession for contracts entered into on orafter 1 July 2021 and on or before 30 June 2023.
