Leaving Bradbury
Parents, if you are considering taking your child/ren on an extended holiday over the break and
they will not be attending school on the first day of Term 1 2019, the school requires
written notification for Office records. Please notify the Office if your child/ren will be
transferring to another school over the holiday break. Your help with this matter will assist us
with our 2019 class organisation. Notification also allows the school to track pupil numbers.
Accurate pupil numbers are required by the Department of Education for correct staff
allocation to be made.
Written notification ensures that a place will be available for your child/ren upon their return.
Our aim is to place students in their 2019 class on the first day and having correct numbers will
cause minimal disruption/ movement at the beginning of the year.
Be Kind Day
Thank you to the parents who assisted with the day. We really appreciated it. Hopefully next
year will be kinder to us with the weather. Will send photos.
It was really nice to hear about one of our students last week who demonstrated the lessons
learned in Be Kind week. He assisted in making a stressful time for a family that bit easier by
being kind and caring. Thank you Flynn 2T.
Year 6
As Year 6 sees the end of their Primary education drawing nearer, it also sees a number of families end
their long association with our school. To all those families who are also moving on and seeing their last
child exit primary school, let me say thank you for the support that you have shown our school over the
years. It has been and is very much appreciated.
To Year 6 as you move into High School, try and revel in the new opportunities that present themselves,
appreciate friendships, both old and new and value the many new experiences that High School brings.
Take with you many happy memories of your time at Bradbury P.S.
