GGrreeeettiinnggss FFrriieennddss!! This year’s conference will be held at the beautiful Willow Valley Conference Center & Resort in Lancaster, PA - which is now officially a Doubletree resort. Last year we tolerated construction activity and a major blizzard and still had a great time. This year, the construction is all done ($8 million worth), there is a new hot tub area, a new fitness center, a new restaurant and refurbished lobby and rooms! The place looks beautiful….and you’ll have to help me pray for good weather! This is a conference that you definitely want to bring your family along and you will also want to make it a mini-getaway if possible. The facilities are top notch, the food is outstanding and there will be plenty of activities and nearby attractions. Our guest speaker will be Rev. Larry Hickey, the Potomac District Superintendent while Rev. Tom Reigel, from State College A/G will lead us in worship. We have some excellent training planned - including the new Ranger Essentials and Rangers Basics. Ms. Lucie Hale will be with us to offer a fantastic craft project and provide services for the children during the evening sessions. There will be a special ladies fellowship on Saturday morning and a shopping trip on Saturday afternoon. We are inviting Junior Leaders to join the conference for a time of fun, fellowship and service. There will be a Laser tag trip for the Junior Leaders on Saturday. And of course there are the 3 indoor pools on the premises which the entire family can enjoy. The goals and purpose of the Regional Leaders Conference remain the same. You will find opportunity to receive excellent training; there will be plenty of time for fellowship with others; and you will be blessed spiritually with the Word of God and Praise & Worship. We as leaders need God’s anointing on our ministry as we strive to influence more boys for Christ more effectively than ever. We trust that you will make plans to be with us at the Leaders Conference in 2011. For those who have never been to the Conference, please consider making this the year that you invest in your ministry and invest in the Kingdom. For those who have attended in the past, consider personally inviting a fellow leader to attend this year. We’re looking forward to seeing you at Willow Valley in Lancaster, PA in 2011. Yours in Christ,

Dwight Walters

Rev. Larry F. Hickey - will be our guest speaker and has served as the District Superintendent for the Potomac District based in Gainesville, VA since 2006. Larry was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and is a graduate of Southeastern Assemblies of God in Lakeland, FL. Larry began his ministry at Maranatha A/G in Grantsville, MD as the first full-time youth pastor in the Potomac District. After pioneering Monroe Bay A/G in Colonial Beach, VA, Larry served as worship leader and youth pastor at First A/G in Winchester, VA. He also served as the Potomac District Youth Director for 10 years. Larry returned to Victory Church in Winchester, VA as lead pastor for 13 years, where a 60,000 sf ministry center was completed under his leadership. His wife Lynda also graduated from Southeastern College and later received her Master’s Degree in Education from UVA. She is currently the Director of Curriculum for Winchester Public Schools. Larry & Lynda have one grown son, Lathan, daughter-in-law, Mallory and three grandchildren. We are excited that he will be our “Conference Pastor” for this weekend. Rev. Thomas A. Reigel - will be our worship leader. He joined the pastoral team of State College A/G in 2008 as campus pastor at Penn State University. Tom was born in Kane, PA and is a graduate of Evangel University, where he also played baseball. He completed a master of divinity degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 2001. Tom is married to Becky, also an Evangel graduate, and they have two children. Tommy was a National Ranger of the Year in 2005 from the Gulf Region and recently graduated from Johns Hopkins with a biomedical engineering degree. Elizabeth is a middle school student and enjoys singing and playing the guitar and piano. He’s had the honor of pastoring several Royal Rangers attending Penn State, including Brent Hoban, 2005 NE Region Ranger of the Year. You will enjoy Tom’s incredible musical ability as he leads us in worship with live musical accompaniment from last year’s guests, Praise Assembly’s worship team.
