• When you save an Excel 2010 file, the program

automatically adds the .xlsx estension to the end of the

file´s name.

• By default, the Open dialog box lists only the files that

were created in the program you are using.

• When you open a file, the program places your cursor

and screen display at the beginning of the document.

• Excel workbook, however the active cell is the same

one that was active when you last saved the file.

• You can use:

• the arrow keys

•The scrollbars

•Or the mouse to navigate through a

worksheet

• Help topics can assist you with virtually any task, featureor problem you encounter when workin with Excel.

• Enables you to use and master Excel´s file management

features functions that aren´t related to creating

workbook.

• Backstage view´s left-side navigation pane gives you

access to workbook and file-related commands, including

• Save

• Save As

• Open

• Close

• You should choose the SAVE AS option to save to a

different destination, change a file´s name and/or change

a file´s format.

• Print Preview oane in the Print dialog box so you can

preview your workbook as you choose print options.

• This option is used when you need to review a draft of a

worksheet before you are ready to print the final

workbook

• The print command in backstage view offers a number of

options for customizing printing workbooks.

• You can´t change the size of the Quick Acces Toolbar, but

you can customize it by adding and subtracting command

buttons.

choose, you do not have the option of removing any of

the default commands.
