We understand that the submission of the application and associated prequalification documents do not obligate you or the D&B contractor towards us nor to any party associated with or related to us.

We also understand that the assessment of information presented will be at the sole discretion of the revenue.

We further understand that you will treat the information provided in the prequalification documents as strictly confidential and will not make it available to any third party except to your appointed D&B Contractors and consultants.

The submitted prequalification documents shall be structured strictly in accordance with the Prequalification Questionnaire (PQQ) requirements as set out in section 6

The hard copy will be deemed to be the “original” submission of the application.

All documents shall be provided in the English language. Where information is provided in another language, it shall be



accompanied by an English translation. This translation will govern and be used for interpreting the information.

Qatar Rail and the D&B Contractor shall not be responsible for, nor reimburse, any expenses incurred by whomsoever in the preparation and submission of the prequalification documents or any clarification/further information which Qatar Rail may request for the proper assessment of the submitted prequalification documents.

6 Examination of DocumentsThe Employer and D&B Contractors reserve the right not to examine documents that are received after the closing date and time as listed in Section 4.

Information provided by the Applicant in the submitted prequalification documents will be treated as strictly confidential.

The Employer reserves its right to request the Applicant to prepare and furnish any clarification considered necessary for the proper assessment of the submitted prequalification documents.

The Employer does not bind itself with any process subsequent to this prequalification, short listing, open tenders, communication with the Applicant, etc.

The Employer reserves its right to amend the scope of the Works described in this document prior to award of the subcontract by the D&B Contractor.
