Example Apology Letter

Dear Dana

I would like to say I’m sorry for… taking your pencil without asking.

I imagine that it made you feel… annoyed and upset.

Next time I will try to… make sure that I ask you before borrowing

your things.

The things I value most about our friendship are… that we have lots

of fun together and both like music and dancing and thinking and of fun together and both like music and dancing and thinking and

learning.

I would like to work on putting out our Friendship Fire® and rebuild

our trust and respect, so that we can get our friendship back into

the healthy zone again and grow closer and stronger.
