Each Sunday morning, we come together in this place as the local

church of Jesus Christ called Cherry Tree Alliance Church. We are a part

of The Christian and Missionary Alliance. We seek to be Christ-centered and mission-focused.

We proclaim Christ as our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer and Coming King!

Come every Sunday with a heart of anticipation. We get to worship the

Lord, to thank Him for His blessings, to hear and respond to His Word, and to enjoy His presence and the

fellowship of His people!

In the challenges of everyday life, ask God to keep His song in your heart. Pray that the words of the old hymn would be true for you:

In my heart there rings a melody, There rings a melody of love.

Share that love with others.

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual

songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always

giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of

our Lord Jesus Christ.

Interested in helping with our church picnic? We have scheduled our annual church picnic for Sunday, August 24th at Hutchinson Park and

are recruiting a team of volunteers to assist with the planning and preparation of this event.

If you’d like to lend a hand, please sign up on the church bulletin board. See Cathy Thomas if you have any questions. Sign-ups for

the picnic itself will be coming soon!

All Out Praise! Music Festival - This Week! The All Out Praise! Christian music festival is returning to Donegal

this summer on July 17th, 18th, & 19th.

Thursday, July 17th will feature eight Gospel/Bluegrass groups with The Masters closing the evening.

Friday, July 18th will be a Mash-up Night with Humble Tip, four other bands, and human videos & dramas by area youth groups.

Zach Ellsworth will close the evening with a time of worship.

Saturday, July 19th will be Contemporary Christian Music all day long! Twelve bands will be playing on two stages, including the headliner

Luminate. There will also be information booths, kids’ activities, free giveaways, concessions, and fireworks to end the night.

Pre-Baptism Class We have scheduled a pre-baptism class for Wednesday, July 23rd at 6:00 PM. If you would be interested in attending, please let one

country-gospel music!

Vacation Bible School

Wilderness Escape July 27th-31st 6:15 - 7:45 PM

Registration is now open!!! VBS is open to children ages

4 years old through those entering 5th grade in the 2014-2015 school year. Please fill out a registration

form located on the VBS table in the foyer.

We are seeking volunteers for the following roles: Game Helper, Music Leader & Helpers, Group Leaders &

Group Helpers, Nursery Workers, and Decorating Committee Members. Please check out the display board in the foyer to

sign up. We would greatly appreciate your help!

Also, we are looking for people to donate food and supplies. Please check out the display in the foyer to see what items

are needed and to sign up if you feel led to help. If you have any questions, please see Pastor John Herman.

and Rick Piper who were married here on July 4th! We rejoice in God's goodness to

this new couple and wish them the very best! If you would like to send the

Water Filter Project Our Dominican Republic Missions Team shared a couple weeks ago about their project with Wine to Water, an organization that makes and distributes

water filters to families in need. The team was delighted to distribute 30 filters while they were in

the Dominican Republic, but grieved to leave behind so many families still waiting to receive one. They are committed to collecting

enough funds to sponsor 100 more filters. Each filter costs $45. If you would like to help them meet this goal, you can place your

contribution in an offering envelope and label it “Water Filter Project.”
