Backpack Volunteers NeededWe will need volunteers to help pack backpacks Friday, August 2, 1pm at the CLC.
Teacher Appreciation Basket VolunteersTuesday, August 6 we need volunteers and team members to meet at 8am in room 108 to put together baskets and deliver it to one of the schools. The basket will go to the lounge of each school.

Student Pastor of FBC. Please remember their family in this time of transition.
Good News Club TrainingSaturday, July 20th 9am-5pm (must be present for entire day of training). Training Leader, Mrs. Kari Ash, State Director of Child Evangelism Fellowship. Lunch and snacks will be provided by Chick-fil-a.

Call the church office to register no later than noon, July 15. This training is required to be a volunteer with a Good News Club.
This action-packed time includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme. The purpose of Good News Club is to evangelize
boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.
Christmas in JulyWe are collecting school supplies for the entire month of July. Items can be brought at the Annual Salad Supper (see announcment) or see the display beginning June 30th in the Narthex.
Items to collect are: Glue, sticks, Crayons 24 pkg, Wide rule, paper, #2 Pencils, Pencil , boxes, Packages of erasers, Pocket folders. (backpacks have been purchased)
This is a churchwide outreach project for kids. If you purchase the items on the list, all backpacks will be the same.

August Power LunchTake your lunch break with us! Great food catered through Four Seasons -Thursday, August 1, Noon in the fellowship hall. Bring your coworkers for a great meal and a word of encouragement. Deadline is Monday, July 29. Menu is Stuffed Chicken, Herb Rice Pilaf, Asparagus Casserole, Peach Cobbler w/Ice Cream. Cost is $5 per person and can be purchased online or tickets are available in the office.
• September Power Lunch - we would like to invite as our special guests the First Responders of Hopkinsville (Police, Sheriff, Fire and EMS). We are asking you to sponsor a First Responder. Meals are $5 each.
• First Responders must sign up to make sure we have enough food that is catered through Four Seasons. This Power Lunch is still open to anyone who would like to attend. Cost is $5 per person and can be purchased online or tickets are available in the office.
