The quotation forms complete in all aspects should be submitted in sealed envelope along with tender

fee of'Rs. 500/- in the form of dernand draft drawn in f'avour of the Registrar, IIT (BHU), payable at

Varanasi.

The estirnated cost of this work is Rs. 4,76,765.00. The earnest money deposit of Rs. 10,000/- shall

be submitted in the fbrm of FDR orDD in favourof the Registrar, IIT (BHU), payable at Varanasi.

The EMD of successful bidder will be retained till the completion of work and shall be returned after

the payment of final bill & decluction of security. The EMD of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned

after the f'rnal award of work.

4. ln case one or more eligible bidders are found lowest that is the L-l prices are same then all L-lbidders will be asked to resubmit their bids in sealed envelop with the objective to break the tiecases and determine a sinsle L-1 bidder.

The works will be executed on Agreement/work order basis.

lnstitute reserves the right to reject any quotation or all quotation without prejudice, assigning any

reason or giving any explanation.

Institute Works DepartmentIf quotations are submitted without clearly writing the rates then quotation will not be considered.

Quotation not starttped &signed by the contractor or his legally authorized agent will be considered

invalid.

Secrrrity deposit @ 5% shall be deducted fiom each bill The security deposit of 5% deducted fiomall the bills will be retirnded after completion of the defbct liability period i.e. 6 months fiom the date

of works completion. The date of issue of work completion certificate will be treated as the work

completion date.

10.1% water tax will be deducted fi"om each bill if applicable.

I l. Electricity charge will deducted as per actual consumption.

12. 5% Trade tax and 2o/o Income Tax will be deducted frorn each bill or as per prevalent Govt. rules.

,l3. Amount and quantitv variation: Quantity may vary as per actual work execution/site

requirement/end user suggested changes during execution but the final bill value shall not exceed

more than 5% of order value.

14. All the tnaterials/ec;uiprnents provided by the vendor will be ohecked by IWD before installation.

15. Wofk cg.mpl-,gjlo-p period: Within 7 weeks fiom the date of issue of Letter of Award/Work order.

Work completion certificate shall be issued by the IWD after obtaining a satisfactor:y work done

report from the user. A period of l0 days will be added to the work completion period fbr cornpletion

ofabove procedure.

16. Late work completio-lr pe"lrp,hy: lf work in not completed within the given time, penalty will be

deducted as per institute norms.

17. Any damage caused to the building shall have to be made good by contractor at no extra cost &without any delay.

within the last date & time will be c'rpened on 15.06.2011 at 4:00 P.M in the Cornmittee room
