Brief feature description
• As an extension to LTE1089, the RL60 feature LTE1332 supports carrier aggregation in downlink for two component carriers of up to 20 MHz cell bandwidth each, plus two non-aggregated uplink cells
• The maximum aggregated downlink bandwidth is 40 MHz
• Primary aim of the feature is to boost peak user throughput in non fully-loaded scenarios by sending one UE’s DL data simultaneously over two carriers
• Maximum achievable DL peak user throughput is up to double compared to single carrier usage (non-CA) of the same bandwidth(s)
