The mass adoption of electric vehicles has changed the way many consumersview transportation. EVs o�er dependence from the use of traditional fuels,

quiet operation, and many other incentives. For these reasons, the growth of themarket has been exponential in recent years with global EV sales topping

two million in 2013. According to industry forecasts, this growthis predicted to continue to over six million sales in 2020.

In order to keep up with the extreme growth in electric vehicle sales, the market for electric vehicle charging equipment is rapidly expanding. The increasing

popularity of electric vehicles is providing a valuable reduction in emissions but requires an advanced infrastructure of charging units. Valent Power believes that

the solution to this problem relies on the production of economical chargers that can be easily installed on the existing power grid.

Fast Charging

The current EV charging infrastructure is limited by the slow speedof traditional AC chargers. This problem was addressed with the introduction of DC quick charging technology (DCQC) which allows vehicles to charge in as little as 30 minutes. While the bene�ts of DC chargers are undisputed, their high cost and substantial power grid requirements have hindered their spread to the charging infrastructure.

Unlike other DC Quick Chargers, the EVQ line of chargers requires only a common 240V single-stage or 208V three-phase connection - making their installation possible in almost all commercial and residential locations. EVQ chargers install easily,can be ordered with both common quick charge plugs, and cost a fraction ofthe price of traditional DCQC models.

Installation

Installation of an EVQ charger is straightforward and inexpensive. Electrical work can be performed by any suitably quali�ed electrician, and the charger’s ergonomic design allows for a range of mounting locations. The housing o�ers easymaintenance access, and the system can be mounted with any of our three availible options. With a NEMA-3 rating, the enclosure allows for indoor and outdoor installation with the optional mounting kits.

Revenue CollectionValent Power o�ers �exible options that make generating revenue through charging

an e�ortless proccess. Features including optical credit card scanners and RFID readerscan be implemented to easily collect payments on chargers intended for commercial

use. These features along with the EVQs’ adaptable software base allow for manypossibilites in customer interaction.

Customized Output SAE Combo CHAdeMO

The Valent Power Charger supports two standards for EV fast charging plugs (SAE and CHAdeMO). EVQ chargers can be �tted with two plugs – with the option of having two of the same style, or one of each. This solution o�ers maximum �exibility for station owners and provides compatibility with the widest range of EVs equipped for fast charging.
