Van - I took a look at S. 2296. It looks like a good and compelling piece of legislation to redress a real injustice. However, I don’t really see where the nexus is between the authorization legislation and Homeland Approps. I note that it calls upon GSA to provide funding and support. Perhaps it might be a better fit getting the authorization bill added to the Transportation-Treasury bill (they also fund GSA and other commissions are funded in that bill). Thanks

No particular agency, the question is in regard to a bill currently in the Homeland Security & Govt Affairs Committee.

I’d be happy to help out. What agency at DHS does your question involve (just in case it is handled by one of my colleagues)? Thanks

Aloha Chip,

Would you happen to have 10 minutes to answer a question that I have regarding the Homeland Security appropriations bill?

Thank you,

Van
