Uncrate and inspect bath for damage. All Kohler sbaths have been manufactured with sophisticatedcraftsmanship. However, please inspect for anypossible damage that may have occurred in transit.Leave all materials in the crate during construction toprevent damage.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
D. New or Replacement Installation
Requirements
This bath can be installed in new or existing bathrooms.For replacement: Remove the old bath, and removeenough old wall material and floor covering from thearea to allow for installation. Remove any old plumbingthat does not confo m to the rough-in requirements.For new installation: Position the plumbing according tothe rough-in dimensions. Cap the suppliers, and checkfor leaks.

If installing a rim-mounted faucet, make sure there is nointerference with drain overflow before drilling anyholes.

INSTALL THE BATH
A. Put the bath at desired position
1. Adjust the feet under the bath to make it level. Adjustthe height of the bath to the height marked in theRoughing-In. Tighten the nut on the adjustable feetto settle the height of the bath.
The bath must be installed level on a flat and levelsubfloor without any bumps or protrusions.Adjust the height of the bath to the height marked inthe Roughing-In.

3. Fix the base on the floor with silicone sealant. 3.
4. Apply silicone sealant around the tail end of thedrain hose. Connect the drain hose with floor drain.Make sure the drain hose protrudes from the floor fora certain length to facilitate future bath removal.

BEFORE INSTALLATION
A.A. Protect the Bath UnitCover the bath with a protective layer or similarmaterial. Be careful not to scratch the bath surface.
5. Connect cold and hot supplies and check allconnections for leak.

6. Apply lubricating oil both to the inner surface of theguide bush and the outer surface of the guide pin.Insert the guide pin into the guide bush to finally fix thebath onto the floor.

B. Plumbing Installation
The drain has been installed onto the bath before itleaves factory. Fill the bath with water before the bathis securely positioned so as to check the connectionsfor leaks. Damage caused by negligence is not coveredby warranty.
Be careful not to damage the bottom of the bathand the subfloor.Note:

If the freestanding bath needs removing, please followthe steps below:
Lift the bath levelly, then the guide pin could bepluged out of the guide bush. Then remove the nuton the drain tail pipe.

Cleaning and Care
Cleaning Acrylic Surfaces: Do not use abrasivecleansers on any acrylic surfaces, as they will scratchand dull the surface. Wipe out the bath after each useto prevent a build-up of soap and scum.
If the acrylic surface becomes dull, an automotive typerubbing compound may be used on the unit, followedby an application of paste wax.
We recommend:Rubbing compound mequiars mirror glaze 28 metalpolish (import product)

2) When installing the freestanding bath, please firstapply lubricating oil both to the inner surface of theguide bush and the outer surface of the guide pin,and then insert the guide into the guide bush.
