We are a dynamic team with a focus on energy problems in South Africa. We are committed to
supplying the best services and quality to our clients. We have been in Business for 12 years
with 8 technical branches in South Africa and Namibia. Our head office is situated within
Pretoria and our engineering department in Cape Town as well as Johannesburg. Our main
focus is within the residential, agricultural and industrial industries. We have a solution for any
application from power factor correction to solar applications as well as home automation
systems.
We offer a wide range of services from products to installations and maintenance. We have
different solar packages available for residential, office, malls, factories, industrial sites, farms
and remote locations. Our solar products will help you save on your electricity bill, generate your
own energy for your home and make your life simpler as well as helping our environment with
eco-friendly solutions.
We offer a wide range of packages including but not limited to grid tie systems, off grid systems,
micro inverter packages and our power engineer system which includes home automation and
power factor correction. All of our packages can be upgraded when your power needs
increases. All of our inverters, batteries and power banks are state of the art products and are
continuously being improved. We offer installation included in all of our packages which are
done with certified electricians.

SOLAR ENERGY SOLUTION
SYSTEM SPECIFICATION
The 5KVA off grid system comprises of the following:
● 5KVA Off-grid inverter
● 6x 320 Watt Solar Panels
● 9,8 KW/h Battery bank
● Management software
The system will supply you with an approximate total of 25 kwh per day at peak performance.
During the day time the system will generate power through both sun and UV rays thus
powering your home through means of solar energy generated by the solar panels. At night time
your home will run on the Battery bank ,of 9,8 Kilowatt per hour, this will give you an estimated
usage period of 10 to 12 hours dependant on your usage. In cloudy weather the system will still
generate up to 85% of the energy that is seen in normal conditions. In rainy weather the system
will produce between an estimated 10 - 60% of the energy that is seen in normal conditions, in
this situation the inverter will automatically supply the additional power from your municipal grid.
If however you do not have a grid connection the system still allows for the integration of a
generator to supply power when necessary.
Please note electrical elements such as Stove tops, ovens, geyser elements, underfloor heating
and electric water heating solutions would not be run on this system due to the amount of
electrical kilowatt consumption that these elements use. However smaller or short time period
elements can be run such as a kettle.
However we do offer gas solution to replace these elements and allow you to use them freely at
any given time.
FINANCIAL ANALYSIS
Taking in consideration that the system will produce 25 kwh per day at peak performance thus
amounting to an approximate monthly saving of R1500,00.
Based on historical data of increases within electrical energy the following chart displays the
approximate amount of savings that would be achieved within a 10 year period if a annual
electrical increase of 20% is taken into consideration

Taking into consideration the replacement of batteries after a 8 year period, an 8 year period is
used as a baseline or “worst case scenario”, and the cost of the replacement of the batteries
and the inflation within the 8 year period based on 7%. The estimated cost of the replacement
batteries would be R30000,00.
Thus your approximate total savings within the 10 year period, including the deduction of the
replacement of the batteries, amount to R437894,00.
INSTALLATION
The installation of the solar energy proposal is done by our own qualified electricians. If there
are no complications regarding the installation the installation can be completed in
approximately a single working day.
Please note that our installation does not include the installation of any gas related products.
Should the client require an installer for gas related products Evest can provide the client with
an accredited installers details.
