What to think about when planning an event or wedding in a marquee.

Do you have somewhere to place a marquee? Is there good access to the

site for suppliers? Know your numbers -

very important! What will take place in

the marquee? Where will your caterers

prepare and serve food? Do you have toilets on site? Is there access to electricity? Is there parking?

That we will LISTEN to you and create a ‘venue’ with you that is ‘exclusively yours’ for the day and will be like no other . That you will have TRUST in us.

You can rest assured that you will know exactly what you will be getting on your Big Day after our site visit, advice, quotation and CAD drawing. That we will DELIVER on time

and to your specification. As well as providing furniture, staging, a dancefloor, lighting – anything that you require for your Big Day – we will do it all! Even advise on preferred suppliers such as florists, photographers … That you will LOVE what

we do!


When it comes to interiors, Pintrest, Facebook and Instagram are great for ideas and we have a presence on them all!

Lulu’s Marquees can be rented out all year round! Heaters can be hired in the winter months and with the carpet and linings are really very snug. In the summer we can roll the sides up.

Lighting is a great ‘mood changer’. We have uplights, festoons, twinkle lights, glitter balls, chandeliers, paper lanterns, to name but a few …

Carpets and seat pads come in a wide range of colours to suit your interior.

Heating is by way of electro diesel indirect heaters.

Dancefloors and bars – a wide range of choice now and even lit!

Marquees can be put up on sloping, uneven ground but the preference is for flat, even land in an ideal world. This will all be discussed at the initial site visit.

The furniture range is vast – tables and chairs, chill out, bar furniture, poseur tables in all styles and colours.

Make sure you have enough toilets for your guests. We can advise on the ratio

and have a fleet of luxury toilet trailers to assist.

Lulu’s Marquees are modular not ‘off the shelf’ so we can create something to whatever size you want! It is important that you know your numbers and what you will be doing inside.

No kitchen? We can attach a catering bay onto the main marquee and equip it.

Do you need a beautiful location for your marquee? We can assist with that via our ‘venue search’ service. We have access to some beautiful sites.

Marquees can be unlined or lined in ivory pleated or flat white linings. Coloured drapes and swags can be added.

We are fully insured – check that your suppliers are too.

Check that you have access to electricity. If not, we can advise on this and provide a generator. You will need to know how much power and how many sockets are required by all of your suppliers – caterers, band, lighting and so forth.

Lulu’s can provide all that you need to ‘party at home”!Dancefloors, bars, furniture, black out linings to walls. We will come in and set it all up, then leave you to ‘dance the night away’!

A marquee is a great idea for an extension onto your house to create bespoke party space. We ‘gutter’ this so it becomes seamless. Or, it can be a stand alone venue in your garden. Where better than your own home for a party! No need to worry about taxis home and you have full say in the design, colour scheme, catering and entertainment. It is all in your hands – with as much help from us as you wish!

Don’t forget we can provide toilets, security and outside lighting.

Lulu’s also have an in-house styling team to create that WOW!

Know your numbers – how many are attending?

Don’t worry about a thing, Lulu’s will take care of it all!

A marquee creates that additional space sometimes required for a staff ‘away day’, a product/car launch or to entertain clients.

Lulu’s will work closely with you to fully understand your brief. From that the full backdrop for your event will be created. You will choose how you wish the interior to be set up and decorated in accordance with your company branding but we will advise you along the way. We can also provide staging, lighting, sound and technicians if required. Need a venue? We can help with that too!

From the large to the small, we cater for them all …

Lulu’s are a trusted supplier to many in the events industry. We have worked on charity shoots, country and sporting events through to summer festivals. We love them all no matter what the size. We have provided temporary heli-ports, tentage for extra entertaining space during the Henley Royal Regatta period, for example, and even temporary kitchen space for events.

We also hire flooring, picket fencing, lighting and toilet trailers as stand-alone hires.

Last but by no means least, toilets! Everybody forgets them but fear not, Lulu’s to the rescue with our fleet of luxury toilet trailers. In different specifications, we have something to suit any size and type of event.

Our luxury toilet trailers require level standing and access to a 13amp electrical supply.
