save your cancelled stamps

A good friend of Martha Hays is working with a Linden Lodge School in Wimbledon, England, which serves handicapped children. To raise money for activities and projects for the students, the school collects and sells cancelled stamps, and they would be very glad to have stamps from the USA. If you have time, please tear the stamps off your cards and letters leaving a little white showing around the edges. Ask your friends to help, too. Our church could make a big difference in these children’s lives at no cost, just the time to collect the stamps off your incoming mail. Martha has provided a box for them in the foyer of the Parish Life Center on the reception desk. We as a parish may be able to fill this box from the cards we receive! Last year the school was able to purchase a Braille machine from the stamps collected. To learn more about Linden Lodge School, visit: https://tinyurl.com/ybklyoag Weekday Offerings Tuesday Women's Bible Study Groups with The Rev.
