Sitting on a bus 15,000 feet high up in the Andes in 2006, childhood friends Ian Taylor and Graham Kinch realised they had never climbed a big mountain. The conversation developed and before long their ambitious plan to climb four mountains on four continents in just one year began to take shape. In June 2007, having climbed just one mountain over 5,000m, Ian and Graham set out to climb Mont Blanc, Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua and eventually Mount Everest the following May. Braving temperatures from -40°C to 40°C, they battled both their own demons and the colossal mountains – stopping on the way to save a fellow climber’s life. Sitting on a bus 15,000 feet high up in the Andes in 2006, childhood friends Ian Taylor and Graham Kinch

realised they had never climbed a big mountain. The conversation developed and before long their ambitious

plan to climb four mountains on four continents in just one year began to take shape.

In June 2007, having climbed just one mountain over 5,000m, Ian and Graham set out to climb Mont Blanc,

Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua and eventually Mount Everest the following May.

Braving temperatures from -40°C to 40°C, they battled both their own demons and the colossal mountains –

stopping on the way to save a fellow climber’s life. They even took time to do some charity work, raising enough

money to build the Mount Everest primary school in Uganda with Irish charity Fields of Life.

Just four short months after being told by professionals that they wouldn’t reach the summit of Mount Everest,

they succeeded in doing just that.

This film tells their incredible story – one of friendship, teamwork and determination.
