The The Village Spoon is a new cafe located in Arlington offering catering. Just a short drive up from Maple and 204th in Omaha approximately 20 minutes. The lovely cafe offers a friendly atmosphere with a small town feel, delicious home made food options, hand dipped ice cream and a friendly staff. The owner Christine Dollen opened the cafe to have a kitchen to run catering out of. She didn’t expect her restaurant to take off as well as it did. It is now a local favorite. When we dined at The Village Spoon we had the sausage and redeye gravy served with biscuits, the home style pork tenderloin with onion rings, the islander burger with hand cut curly fries and a scoop of the hand dipped vanilla ice cream. The prices were reasonable and all the flavors were delicious. Our favorite was the redeye gravy served with biscuits. The Village Spoon is a must try!!
