Tours

All tours will leave the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. Tours will return you to the IDE host hotel where you are staying. For further information please contact the ASTA/24 Degrees desk in your hotel.

Badge pick up is at the Madinat Jumeirah. If you did not pick up your badge Wednesday and are participating in Thursday morning complimentary tour departures a representative will greet you at the shuttle busses for the sightseeing tours, check your name off a roster and confirm your attendance.

Shuttle Bus Information

Your official delegate badge allows you free transportation on all IDE buses. Service is provided between JW Marriott Marquis Dubai and The Intercontinental Hotel to Madinat Jumeirah. Shuttles will also be provided from hotels to Official IDE evening functions. See page 4 for details on shuttle service.

Old Dubai Tour (4 hours)This tour will showcase the history of Dubai and mainly be centered around the Dubai Creek, where it all began. Highlights of this tour include a visit to the Dubai Museum and walking tour around Bastakiya. From here we cross the Dubai Creek which is the very heart of the city and arrive at the Spice market. With its myriad of smells and colors, it is the perfect place to hunt for souvenirs and gifts. The tour ends with the glittering Gold Souk, where you will have plenty of time to haggle for that bargain.
