A Sinister Beginning
Festivities begin with a barbeque and a drink at college after registration. Freshers will then either be whisked away to a secret location in London's Whitechapel, or wined and dined at a students’ bar at Stepney Green.

Itinerary
The week will begin with the usual welcome speeches from the HSU and your college registration in the Loyola Hall. At around lunchtime, a BBQ will be held where you can meet fellow freshers along with your Fresher Stewards and Union Executive. At approximately 8 that evening two trips
will be made by party bus, (free of charge) to take you to one of two locations. Either:-
•An undisclosed venue in Whitechapel, with live bands playing, DJ's and a special surprise. ..
•A charming student bar, (cheap drinks and free entry) up the road in Stepney Green.
The choice is yours.

Chapter 2
Heythrop will host it’s annual Freshers’ Fayre, where students can sign up
and get involved in the many sports and societies open to students.

Itinerary
Heythrop will host it’s annual Freshers’ Fayre, an event aimed at getting Heythrop students involved in it’s array of on campus sports clubs and societies. Fresher Stewards will be around to help you find societies to join up to, otherwise feel free to chat with the various society heads to find new
interests.
Around 3pm, you’ll be treated to a selection of games and soceitiesdemonstrations in the college garden, to help kick start the Fresher vibe. You will also be likely to meet many returning students as they register on this day.
The evening will also play host to the launch of Heythrop’s BRAND NEW
students’ newspaper, The Lion. Budding writers, photographers and designers can sign up and celebrate being part of this unique moment in Heythrop’s history.

You will meet with your Fresher Stewards in the college at 5pm and travel to St. Katharine's docks near Tower Bridge for an awesome nautical themed event with fantastic views of central London. A competition will also be
held in which winners will receive paint-balling tickets for them and their newly made new fresher friends.

Fire and Ice
Chapter 4
Students will have a choice between two events, one themed as a pit of hellish flames, the other as an Icy Tundra.

Itinerary
The ULU Fresher’s Fayre starts this University of London themed day. At the ULU Fayre you can sign up to intercollegiate clubs and societies as well as getting a chance to meet students from other colleges with similar interests. Also, being one of the biggest Freshers’ Fayres in the country, be prepared to pick up some freebies!
In the evening, ULU will be transformed into the scene of a massive inter-college Fresher party. This will be a co-hosted event, so It’ll be a great chance for you to acquaint yourself with your University of London counterparts and better discover the facilities of Malet Street.
It is required that you meet with your Fresher Stewards well before 5 to be taken to ULU from college(if you aren’t still there from the Fayre)
Chapter 6
Live debates will be organised around the Natural History Museum for students to listen to and be part of. The night will culminate in the college
garden where films will be projected to create an outside cinema.

Itinerary
You will enjoy the wonders of one of London’s most impressive Museums with a tour that will be conducted by your Fresher Stewards and Union Exec. Live debates in the day time will take place in the Museums' garden and can either be enjoyed from a distance or actively taken part in by students.
A hearty, homely feel to the evening, before Sunday’s carnage, Enjoy Heythrop’s own picturesque garden for a relaxed feeling evening and
hopefully a more cerebral night. There’ll be easy listening and easy watching using an outdoor projector and a selection of films. This will be a night to chat about the week gone by and to discuss your own future plans. Competition- winners will get free entry to Sunday's ultimate party.

Chapter 7
Massive party at the Vodka Revolution Bar in Soho. Live music from DJ sets and roulette tables (just for fun) will give Freshers a night to remember that’s
distinctly London and uniquely Heythrop.

Itinerary
The party start will begin at Vodka Revolution Bar at 6pm. This is a great venue to start most nights out, with good food and great bar service. All drinks are only £2.50 with drinks tokens available for purchase from the Union office or Fresher Stewards. Free nachos till they last, DJ sets, Cashless Casino games for entertainments with winners getting prizes. The party will finish at 11pm, however you will be in one of London’s Club
centres, so if you do use this to your advantage, keep in mind your lectures start on Monday.
