Today we had a wonderful event which showcased our

students’ talents when reciting poetry. The children

worked together to recite, with actions, an array of

wonderful poems.

Grade 2 G performed a delightful poem entitled “Open a

Book” which showed the importance ofreading. The

children did an excellent job reciting and performing

together in unison.

Grade 2 F performed a sweet poem entitled “The Earth”

which showed the importance of our planet. The

children did an excellent job reciting and performing

together in unison.

Grade 2 E performed a cute poem entitled “Up, Up

Umbrella” which told the story of an umbrella. The

children did an excellent job reciting and performing

together in unison.

Grade 2 B performed a lovely poem entitled “My

Family” which certainly made everyone smile. The

children did an excellent job reciting and performing

together in unison.

Grade 2 C performed a great poem entitled “Gorilla”

which told the story of a large ape. The children did an

excellent job reciting and performing together in unison.

Grade 2 D performed a cute poem entitled “Be Glad

Your Nose is on Your Face” which made everyone

happy. The children did an excellent job reciting and

performing together in unison.
