Events Booking Features

• Nested categories : Event Booking allows you to organize your events cross infinite categories and subcategories.


• Events management : Event Booking allows you to create and manage events from back-end of your site . You can create both free event and paid events . Users will be able to browse for events and register themselves for this event from front-end . From version 1.2.0, you can also create recurring (daily, monthly, weekly recurring) events.


• Front-end events submission: Events Booking allows users (individual users or group of users which admin allows) to submit events from front-end.


• Collect registrants information: Event Booking allows you to collect information of registrants (both individual and group registration ) when they register for your events. You can collect basic information (first name, last name,…..) and any information you want using custom fields.


• Group and Individual Registration support : Users can register for an event by individual or for an group . For group registration, users will be able enter necessary information of all members in the group. Furthermore, with group rate setting for each event, you will be able to give discount for group registration .


• Mutiple booking feature: If you turn this feature on, Event Booking will work much like a shopping cart. Users can choose several events and register for all of them within one checkout.


• Registrants management: Event Booking allows you manage registrants (view, edit, delete, export) from both front-end and back-end of your site.


• Captcha support: If you enable captcha (for free, paid or both free and paid events), users will need to enter captcha code before they can process registration. This feature can be used to prevent spam in Event Booking registration.


• Waiting List: If you enable this feature, when an event is full, users can enter information to join waiting list. If someone cancel their registration, admin can inform users from waiting list so that they can come and register for the event


• Prevent duplicate registration: If you turn this feature on, users won’t be able to register for the same event twice.


• Event Detail content plugin: Allows display detail information of an event within Joomla article.


• Event Register content plugin: Allows display registration form of an event within Joomla article.

Events Booking Feature

• Discount options :– Member discount : With this option, you can give

your site member some discount for the registration if they registered on the site already.

– Early bird discount: With this feature, you can give discount for registrants, who register for the event before a certain date.


• Registration History: Registrants can login to front-end of your site, see registration history and modify registration record if needed.

• Cancel registration : If administrator turn this option on for the event, registrants can cancel their registrations before a certain date (setup by admin).


• Social sharing: The extension has an option to show facebook like button and other social buttons so that users can share information about the event with his friends via social sites.

• Invite Function : Activating this feature will allows users to invite their friends to view and register for the event.


• Registrants management : Event Booking allows you to manage all the registrants from back-end of your site. You can view, edit, or delete registrant . You can also export registrants into CSV format and view it is MS Office program. From version 1.2.0, you can also give some special users to manage registrants from front-end of your site (in case you don’t want them to be able to login to back-end of your site)


• Mass Mail: The extension has Mass Mail feature which allows you to send email to all registrants of an event.


• Powerful custom fields feature : Event Booking allows you create custom fields to collect information of registrants (for both individual registration and group members information) . There is an interesting feature called Custom Field Fee which allow dynamic calculation total price for event registration based on the options which registrants choose during registration. Custom fields can be assigned to multiple events or to all events.


• Locations management : Event Booking allows you to create and manage locations of events . When users view an event from front-end, they can see location information, see this location on google map and get direction to this location using google map.


• Multi-languages support : Event Booking is designed to support multi-languages. Administrator can find and modify any language strings from back-end of the extension and translate it to any languages.


• Jomfish support : Event Booking support Joomfish. That means if you use Joomfish on your site, you can translate everything (Categories, Events, Email messages) into different languages.


• Multi-payment gateways support : Right now, Paypal, Authorize.net, Eway, Worldpay and Offline payment gateway are supported. Other payment gateways like 2Checkout, Google Checkout, First Data… are released as payment plugins. The extension now supports total 18 payment gateways.


• Google Map integration : Event Booking is integrated with Google map to allow registrants to view locations of events on the map.


• Setting at Event level: You can set up Paypal account, Notification Emails, Thanks Message, Confirmation Email message on Event Edit/New screen. If one of these information are left empty, the default configuration from configuration area will be used.


• Search plugin : Allows your events to be able to search able via Joomla standard search.

• Categories module : Show all event categories within a module.

• Up-coming events module: Show up-coming events within a module.


• Event Locations module : Display list of locations so that users can browse for all events from a specific location.

• Mini Calendar module : Show events in a mini calendar. Users can then click on a date in the calendar to view all events from that date.

• Search events module: Allows searching for events using keywords, category and location.


• Community Builder and JomSocial Integration :– Auto fill-in registration form with data stored in

user profile .– Registration history plugin which allow

registrants to see and edit all events which they registered .


• Flexible layouts : User can browse for events in the system using default layout, table layout or calendar layout. You can choose the best layout for your system from configuration of the extension.


• Newsletter integration : Event Booking integrate with popular newsletter extensions CC Newsletters, Acajoom Newsletters, AcyMailing Newsletters. It allows suscribe registrants into newsletter system so that you can send newsletter to them whenever you want .


• Flexible config options : There are many configuration options which you can change from back-end of the extension : Payment information (paypal account, authorize.net account…) , Messages (the message displayed on each for and the email sent to registrants…), Fields (choose to show/hide, require/not requires any fields on registration form)… That makes Event Booking becomes very flexiable
