DATES TO REMEMBER

CHONDA PIERCE TOUR – Chonda Pierce will be in Durham at the Catch the Fire Worship Center on Sunday, October 8th. Tickets are $24.00/person and doors open at 6:15pm. I am willing to order tickets and organize a trip if anyone is interested in going. However, I will need your name and ticket money by Sunday, September 29th.

BEULAH BAPTIST ASSOCIATION FALL MEETING – WILL BE Monday, October 9th at Somerset Baptist Church. Business & Reports will begin at 5:00pm, dinner at 6:00pm and Worship & Missions Celebration at 6:45pm. All TBC Church Messengers are encouraged to attend.

CALLED CHURCH BUSINESS MEETING - There will be a special Called Business Meeting for the entire church on Tuesday, October 10th at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary. This meeting will be to discuss and vote on recommendations from the Finance and Pastor Search Committees on the new pay/benefit packages for the future pastor and youth/associate pastor. These recommendations and vote will be a follow-up of the informational meeting with Davis Blount from the Baptist State Convention. All members are encouraged to attend and vote.

FALL STEW – to benefit the Annual Senior Citizens Dinner will be Saturday, October 14th. Stew will be $7.00 per quart. Stew needs to be pre-ordered no later than Sunday, October 8th. (See order form in bulletin.) If you will not be in town that day, please make arrangements to have your stew picked up.

ANNUAL APPLE ORCHARD TRIP(S) – Sandy Jordan will be coordinating a trip to nearby apple orchards this year on Saturday, October 14th and/or October 21st. Please contact Sandy Jordan if you are interested in going on one or both.

QUARTERLY BUSINESS MEETING – to discuss ongoing church business will be Wednesday night, October 18th at 7:00pm.

FALL FESTIVAL – will be Tuesday, October 31st. A FREE hot dog supper will begin at 5:30pm until 6:30pm, followed by games for children (Toddlers – 5th Grade). Please, no scary costumes.
