LET US ALL PRAISE THE LORD! The Lord is the Wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father and the Prince of peace.” The Lord is the Redeemer of lost souls for eternity and the Provider of necessities each day! He is the King of kings and Lord of lords and He reigns from heaven above! He is the Shield and Defender, the Guide and Deliver-er! The Lord is the Great I Am, the All in all Who alone is worthy of praise! He is the only wise and just God Who will judge the quick and the dead, Who is preparing an eternal kingdom of beauty and perfection. And the Lord will receive His own faith-filled and faithful children into the eternal king-dom & His glorious and eternal presence. And, He is coming soon to claim His beloved church - all the saved from history and all the saved now alive. These are all great reasons to praise the Lord, IF you are a born-again believer. IF you are not sure if you belong to the Lord as a born-again believer then there is great news for which you can praise the Lord – YOU CAN BE BORN-AGAIN TODAY! The following Bi-ble verses will show you God’s way to receive His saving grace SO PLEASE READ them all and let God speak to you about your eternal relationship with Him: Isaiah 55:6-7, John 3:16, John 14:6, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 6:44, Romans 10:9-10, 13. Also, please let me know if you have any questions or any doubts about your eternal relationship with God.
EVERY BORN-AGAIN BELIEVER NEEDS TO KNOW – As we anticipate the RENEWAL SERVICES that begin Sunday morning October 6, many may have this ques-tion about coming to the Sunday – Wednesday services: DO I NEED SPIRITUAL RENEWAL? To answer this, let’s inves-tigate to see if our answer is in sync with GOD’S answer. SO PLEASE take a few minutes to let GOD speak His answer to you as you read each of the following IF statements and the accompanying verses from GOD’S Word.
YOU NEED SPIRITUAL RENEWAL IF… …you are a church member but rarely, if ever, attend… Hebrews 10:23-25
…you spend less time praying each day than you do shaving or putting on make-up… Acts 2:42 …you seldom read the Bible… 2 Timothy 2:15; Psalm 119:11, 105 …you have neglected the above IF statements and it didn’t bother you… Romans 8:5-8 …you rarely talk to anyone, including family, about when you became a Christian or about how God has blessed your life… Psalm 23 & Psalm 75:1 …you are too busy with work, school, recreation and/or family time for church… Matthew 6:33 …you go weeks without thinking about your relationship with God…II John verse 9 …you think Sunday School, Discipleship classes and Wednesday prayer services are for someone else …you are unwilling to forgive someone… Matthew 6:14-15 …you don’t like something about the church so you quit… Colossians 1:9-18
TRUTH IS - YOU are loved by GOD and you matter to Him immeasurably and He wants to bless you spiritually so you can be a blessing to others. GOD’S Summary about His Plan for your spiritual life is II Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if any-one is in Christ. he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” Are you new? Are the old worldly ways out of your life? I am quite sure you have already answered the question about SPIRITUAL RENEWAL – WE ALL NEED IT, and I am eager to experience RENEWAL with you at CCBC October 6-9. Again, if you have any questions about your present relation-ship with the Lord Jesus Christ or your need for SPIRITUAL RENEWAL, please call or email me today. Remember, GOD loves you and so do I,
Brother Alan

What an exciting month for us as the choir has begun work on our Christmas music, Messiah: Heaven's Glory! The choir will also begin practicing on Sunday afternoons at 4:30 very soon to accommodate busy schedules. If you aren't a member of our choir, we would love to have you join us, especially as we prepare to joyously celebrate our Savior's birth! See me or any choir member for more information. In addition, if you would like to join the choir Remind group for updates and reminders, text @ccbcchoir to 81010. We are very thankful for our praise band which works hard each week to enhance our worship experience. We appreciate everyone who supports our worship ministry as we serve the Lord through music. Finally, don't forget that the LeFevre Quartet will be in concert at CCBC at 6:30 pm on Friday, October 4th. You don't want to miss these incredible men as they share their faith through singing & praise.

Whitewater Trip to Ocoee Camp Oct. 11-13
The Senior High and College group will leave Oct. 11th at 5pm heading to the beautiful Ocoee Camp located in Copperhill, Tennessee. Tyler Lafoy is coming and will open God’s Word to teach and encourage us during our stay. Weather will vary greatly from warm during the day to cool at nights, so bring clothes accordingly. Everyone should bring sleeping bags, pillows, sheets to fit a twin size bed and blankets to stay warm. Tennis shoes are needed for horseback riding. In addition, old clothes and old tennis shoes are recommended for rafting. The remainder of the balance is due on or before October 6th.
The Maze is coming back for Fall Festival
The youth have volunteered to build a maze for the Fall Festival. The youth will also monitor this area during the Fall Festival on October 31st.

October Family Focus: Focus on Worship
Scripture: Hebrews 13:15 -”Therefore by Him let us continually offer the
sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His
name.”
Challenge family members to offer up praise to God throughout the day in
all circumstances. Provide family members with a small notebook to right
down things they can praise God for.
Family Activity: Griffin Farms Pumpkin Patch October 5,2019
October is full of ministry opportunities at CCBC. One of the largest
outreach opportunities that we have at Carrolls Creek Baptist Church is our
annual Fall Festival. Each year we have many children and adults
participate in the games, fun, and fellowship. Most of all, we are able to
share God’s love with each of these individuals. Please plan to pray for,
volunteer in and participate in this event on Thursday, October 31st from
6:00-8:00 p.m. Everyone’s help is needed to make this event a success.
We can’t do it without you. Sign up to help in your Sunday School class.
We also can use all the candy that can be donated to use as prizes
(no peanut candy please due to allergies).
October is our kick-off for Operation Christmas Child. Our goal is 200 boxes
for our church. However, if every family would pack at least 2 boxes we
would easily exceed that number. These boxes are allowing the gospel to
be presented to children in areas that would otherwise not allow the love of
Jesus to be shared. A simple box can change the life of a child. Will you be
the difference in the life of a child?
God is at work at CCBC. I pray that each of us will pray daily for our church,
our pastor, and our church leaders and that we will all seek to follow God’s
plan in all that we do.
God loves you and so do I.
