    Cambodia`s food is plain and it is not spicy. Cambodia`s food includes lots of rice and vegetables

    because Cambodia is so poor there not that much of a range of food. Cambodia`s most famous food is

    Morning Glory but no it is not a Morning food. Cambodian`s like to play with their textures and

    temperatures and think out side the box and plan it well they also like to present their dish well they

    include herbs, leaves, pickles, dipping sauces and flowers.

    A dish that includes morning

    glory meat vegetables and onions.

    The population of Cambodia is 18.millon people. 50% are women and 50% men

    (roughly) 32% are aged between 0-14. 64% are aged between 15-64.4% are aged 64 and

    up which means that people in Cambodia do not live for long due to poverty and poor

    health. Another thing is that people are very poor so they do not have the right facilities

    to sleep eat and live.

    Cambodia`s main religion is Buddhism. Buddhism is practiced by 85% of the population.

    In Cambodia there are a lot of temples that people that practice Buddhism go to. Most

    of the temples are made with lots of detail and care. These temples are often visited by

    tourists and the public.

    Cambodia competed in the 2012 summer Olympics. Unfortunately although they tried

    hard they did not win any medals. Cambodian athletes competed in track and field

    Olympics. Cambodia has become very involved in sport over the last 30 years. These are

    some of the main sports football, martial arts and Khmer kick boxing.

    Cambodia is a constitutional monarchy like Australia where we have a democratically

    elected Prime Minister and a head of State which is a King or Queen. Hun Sen is the

    Prime Minister of Cambodia. Cambodias King is called King Norodom Sihamoni.

    Early Life of the Prime Minister

    Hun Sen was born on the 5th

    of August 1952. He was the third child of six and his father

    was called Hun Neang who was a monk who later quit being a monk to marry his wife

    Dee Yon, Huns mother. His family was reasonably wealthy. Hun Sen left home at 13

    years old to attend a monastic school in Phnom Penh. He later left his education to join

    the Khmer Rouge and life in politics.

    Adult life

    Hun Sen was wounded in fighting for the Khmer Rouge in the left eye which had to be

    removed and replaced with a glass eye. He left the Khmer Rouge and fled to Vietnam

    later returning to overthrow the Khmer Rouge government. He became leader of

    Cambodias Peoples Party and the Prime Minister in 1985.His wife is called Bun Rany

    and he has six children called, Manet, Mana, Manit, Mani, Mali and Malis.

    Cambodia is a developing country which means the people are not very rich. There islots of poverty amongst the people. Many people in Cambodia suffer from physical and

    psychological injuries received during the Vietnam War (also known as the American

    War because so many American forces were involved in driving Communism out of the

    region). In the Vietnam War, America supported North Vietnam against the South

    Vietnam Communist forces. The war lasted 20 years and the South Vietnamese

    Communists won in 1975.

    The traditional clothing in Cambodia is mostly silky clocks and gowns that are like

    pyjamas. Cambodians do not wear those types of clothing as a everyday outfit. Many

    Cambodians can`t afford normal cloths like the clothes we wear they wear rags and

    small body coverings.

    Cambodia makes its money from making textiles which are things like carpets, silk and

    cloth for clothes like suits, tee shirts and skirts. Another major industry in Cambodia is

    tourism. Cambodia is visited by lots of tourists every year. When people come toCambodia they buy things like clothes, vases and teacups. Cambodia also makes money

    from tourists when they stay at hotels and motels, eat in restaurants and visit tourist

    attractions such as pools, activities, museums, beaches and shopping centres.

    Cambodias currency is called riel.

    1 Australian dollar is equal to 4,182 riel.

    The climate is in Cambodia is tropical which means it is wet, hot and humid. In

    Cambodia there are two seasons. The rainy season which runs from May to October and

    the temperatures can drop to 22 degrees Celsius. The dry season lasts from Novemberto April and the temperatures can rise to 40 degrees Celsius. Flooding occurs almost

    every year.

    The main animals in Cambodia are Sun bears, Indian Elephants tigers fish and birds.

    Cambodia animals are mostly located in the forest. There are 212 difrent mammal

    species 563 brid species 850 fresh water species and 435 marine fish species. Lots of

    Cambodias animals are thertend or endangered due to habait desturtion pouchingfishing farming and wild life trade. The most endangerd are wild tiger Eld`s deer and

    wild water buffleos
