What do you think about the different presentations of the students? Explain! Spain: We think that the presentations were well done, but we didn't see on the administration part the salaries of the employees and other things. Denmark: We think the presentations were a bit short, because we needed some more information about economics. Beside that, we think the presentations were great to have an overview. Germany: We think some of the presentations (especially from Iceland) were very well done. You could see that some countries did not practice a lot to present their presentation, so the preparation could have been better. Some presentations had too much information and it was hard to follow because of language difficulties. Czech Republic: We think it was good. Everybody enjoyed it. The presentation were well done, really nice, interesting and well prepared, but too long. Sometimes it was difficult to understand because some students spoke either quickly or quietly or not so well English. It was interesting to see the difference between the countries. Iceland: We think that the presentations were good and that they were very different from one country to another. We saw different views of the company, but some of them might have been a bit clearer because it wasn’t always easy to understand them. Luxembourg: The presentations were all good, but it was the same for all the groups so a bit boring.

Students’ evaluation

The students’ presentation

2. Do you think that your preparation for this meeting was well done?

Spain: Yes, we think that, but it was difficult for us because of the accounting part, but not as hard as the preparation for Hamburg, because we had to develop our new idea.

Denmark: We weren’t so well prepared for the meeting and we aren’t proud of that, but as an excuse, we didn’t get much time for it at school. Germany: We are not sure whether yes or no. We actually prepared a presentation about our international board and were forced in Tabor to change it to concern our internal work results from the national company. We knew everything necessary by heart, so it didn‘t take long to fix the presentation so we would tend to a yes! Czech Republic: Yes, we think that we have done our best and we hope that all enjoyed it. The whole class prepared very carefully and was looking forward to the meeting. Mainly our class teacher had with this project a lot of work. Iceland: Yes we think that we did a good job and we said what we wanted to point out. We had been practising for a week and wanted it to be good.

Luxembourg: Yes, we meet once a week and we think that we work very seriously!!!

3. Did you have enough information for preparing your presentation?

Spain: We hadn't got enough information for preparing it. We needed to know different things like if our task was only for Alicante or for all Comenius countries. Denmark:

Yes, we had. Germany: We had all information we required. Czech Republic: Yes we had everything we needed and the teachers also helped us. Iceland: Yes we were very well informed for this meeting and prepared all for it. Luxembourg: Yes, we had.

4. How do you evaluate the schedule of the meeting? Spain: We really had a great time. Activities in the morning were really interesting and we had enough time in the afternoon to meet with all Comenius people.

Denmark: We think that the schedule wasn’t much planned for young people like us. Furthermore the schedule didn’t contain much about the company, but more about Tábor. Things like Budweiser were very interesting and the middle-aged dinner party, it was very funny and a good ending. Germany: We think it was a fun schedule but we had too much time for the work in school, so it was sometimes a little bit boring Czech Republic: Everything was good and it worked well, nobody complained. We liked the Tábor Rallye, because we talked about Tábor’s history mainly about Hussite and showed them sights in Tábor and we enjoyed the last dinner in Houstuv Mlyn. We spend a lot of time on trips which didn’t connect with our project and we had a lot of free time. But the waiting in Cesky Krumlov was unnecessary, we was waiting there about 3 hours. Iceland: We liked it, because we could see and learn a lot. We always hat enough to do. Luxembourg: We had a great time, we spend very much time with all the Comenius students, and we had also enough free time.

The Photostories

5. Did you like the idea of making a photostory?

Spain: Of course! It was really funny; the photo story is a good idea to make a tour, to know the city and to speak English. Denmark: The idea of making a photo story was very good, but we think the international groups should contain at least two from the same country, because we Danes found it difficult to talk with the others, because they talked their own language. All the students should try to speak English in international teams! Germany: We think it was a really nice idea especially because you did not just get to know the people of your own group better but as well the students from other groups as the photo stories gave us an impression of them. It was also very nice to look at the photos we mad and review the places we

went to.

Czech Republic: The idea was very imaginative. When we photographed in the city we had al lot of fun. Iceland: It was really funny to see all these things in Tabor and we liked watching the different photo stories.

Luxembourg: Yes, it was a good idea, so that we could have a tour of the town and at the same time we could have funny times with other students.

The visits

6. Did you like the visits? Spain: Yes, the most exciting visit for us was the Budweiser’s brewery, but the town that we visited after Budweiser wasn’t really interesting.

Denmark: As said before we liked the visit to Budweiser and found it very interesting. We didn’t like the trip to the Cesky Krumlov, because we didn’t find walking in an old city very interesting. Germany: We really liked the trips we went on especially visiting the UNESCO town as it was very pretty. Visiting the beer brewery of Budweiser was as well a very interesting thing to do. Czech Republic: Yes, we met new people and learned a little about their country and the difference between our and their countries. The thing we enjoyed most was shopping at Ceske Budejovic. Iceland: Yes, we liked the visit, because everybody was very nice and the country is beautiful. Luxembourg: Yes, we do. They were all very interesting and the places that we visit were beautiful also the old city Cesky Krumlov!

7. Did you miss something you wanted to see / to visit / to know ? Spain: We don’t think so, in the afternoon the students from Tábor showed us whatever we wanted. Denmark: We don’t know much about Tábor and what to see around Tábor, so we don’t think we missed something. Germany: No. Czech Republic: No

Iceland:

No. Luxembourg: No, we don’t all the more we were 2 days in Prague where we had very interesting guided tours. A beautiful city!

The Innovation Camp

8. Did you like the workshop? Explain!

Spain: We think that it was an interesting way to stay again with our international group thinking about different troubles that each country have.

Denmark: No, we didn’t like the workshops, because as we said before, it was in the international groups, in which we didn’t like to be in as they were discussing all the time in their mother tongue! Furthermore we had to much time to the workshop, because we Danes had finished a long time before the deadline. Germany: We think it was a good idea but the realization was not well planned. The problems were not that clear, through which it was hard to come up with a solution. The groups were too big so not everyone could work at all time.

Czech Republic: Yes we liked it, we had a lot of fun and learned something too. One student thinks that it took a long time and it was hard to concentrate, but the cooperation with people from other countries was good. Iceland: Yes it was interesting to see the difference between the countries and it was a good practise to talk to the others but it was a little boring as it was too long.

Luxembourg: Yes, it was interesting to know about the problems of other countries and to compare with ours

General questions

9. How do you evaluate the atmosphere during the meeting? Explain!

Spain: The atmosphere was really nice; it was an amazing sensation to meet again the students from other countries. We had fun. Denmark:

We think there was a good atmosphere during the meeting.

Germany: Great, there were no exclusions and everybody had fun with everyone. Czech Republic: We think that the atmosphere was pleasant and friendly. Everyone was happy. Among the students there was a friendly mood and everyone had fun. Iceland: We think the atmosphere was good and everybody were in a good mood. Luxembourg: The atmosphere was really good.

10. To what extend has this visit broadened your knowledge of the host countries? Explain!

Spain: Now we know more about other countries. We weren’t in a host family and we don’t know how a typical family from Tábor is, but in the students’ hostel we met a girl and she showed us everything that is typical in Tábor. We realize that the countries like Czech Rep. are interesting and beautiful to visit. Denmark: Haven’t we been living with the Czech students, we hadn’t had the idea of how it was to be a Czech student in the Czech Republic. So we think it was nice to be hosted. Germany: Thanks to everyone there we were able to experience Czech Republic for five days. Everything, the family, the culture, the school and the country itself were new for me and I am glad to have experienced all that.

Page 7: Evaluation Tabor Meeting

Czech Republic: We are from the host country so my knowledge about my country didn’t improved. Iceland: We spent a whole day in Prague and another day in Cesky Krumlov and it was interesting to hear all the stories. Everybody was very friendly. Luxembourg: Now we have an idea of how Czech people live and all the typical things in Czech Republic.

11. Do you think the objectives of this meeting were achieved? Explain!

Spain: Yes, we got an international cooperation even the language wasn’t a problem this time.

Denmark: The meeting was fine, but we needed some more about our company, like some lectures and others of business related stuff. Germany: We learned a lot about the Czech culture but we did not do a lot of things concerning our international project. Czech Republic: Yes, the main goal is to make friends. The plan was respected, everyone mustn’t be shy, and we all communicated and enjoy the entertainment. We all solved all the important issues regarding our company. Iceland: Yes because everybody got to know each other and became friends. We all worked well together. Luxembourg: The meeting was good, because we were with the students all together, but we didn’t do so much for our company.

12. What could be done better in the next meeting?

Denmark: Some more student related visits and arrangements.

Germany: Perhaps making work in school more interesting by changing the groups to new ones each day so that every student gets to know everyone. Manage the time schedule in school better and mix up the groups more often

Page 8: Evaluation Tabor Meeting

Luxembourg: It would be better to do more about the company.

Czech Republic: Nothing, we would be glad to be in the same atmosphere as meeting in Tábor. Maybe planning activities could be better because we often had to wait for something.

Iceland: Nothing, we liked it very much.

Personal comments

Denmark: We think the meeting was okay, and we had a good time with the other students during the free time, but the schedule didn’t contain much, which was interesting for students. Germany: I really liked the visits. The stop at the shopping center was unnecessary. The Czech people were really good hosts and did loads with us. We all had a lot of fun and experienced things the Czech Republic had to offer with its many sights. It was really nice getting to know everyone. I am looking forward to meetings like this in the next project and thank everyone who participated, wishing that he or she enjoyed the trip just as me. Czech Republic: We were enjoying this project a lot, and we are looking forward to see our friends again, in projects or in our own trip.
