Project description The collective participation of 14 Dutch companies at three international agricultural exhibitions Agro Animal Show, Fruit, Vegetables, Logistics & Grain Tech Expo (hereinafter referred to as Holland Pavilion) was organized in the period 19-21 February 2019. The event took place in Ukraine: Kyiv, International Exhibition Center, 15 Brovarskiy ave. All three exhibitions were held in the same exhibition center in the same time frame. The following Dutch companies were represented at the Holland Pavilion either directly or via Ukrainian partner-companies:

The Holland Pavilion was composed of three separate island stands with a total floor space area of 219 m2. The plan of the Holland Pavilion and its location in the exhibition center will be indicated in the following sections of this report. Agro Animal Show, Fruit, Vegetables, Logistics & Grain Tech Expo is the key event for the Dutch agro companies to present their products and services in Ukraine. The exhibitions are divided into the following thematic sections. Technologies of livestock and poultry farming:

The Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine organized the annual Dutch-Ukrainian Potato Forum on 19 February 2019 (12:30 - 16:30) in the framework of the business program of International Exhibition 'Fruit, Vegetables & Logistics'. Other National Pavilions: Germany, France, Denmark, Austria, Check Republic, Great Brittan. Exhibition hosted 570 participants and 157 foreign companies among them. The exhibitions were visited by over 18.000 individual visitors from 36 countries.

Holland Pavilion POS materials and advertisement The following POS materials and advertisement was arranged for the purpose of Holland Pavilion promotion:

Outdoor advertisement 1.5x3 m banner on the board along the way from metro station Livoberezhna to the exhibition center entrance 1C.

The banner was displayed for the period of 3 days: from 19 till 21 February 2019.

Direct mailing Grimco Trade Holland conducted a direct mailing to Ukrainian companies in the agrifood sector - over 1200 recipients. The email included introduction of the 19 participants in the Holland Pavilion as well as invitation to visit them at Agro Animal Show, Fruit, Vegetables, Logistics & Grain Tech Expo 2018.

Holland Pavilion guide The Holland Pavilion guide with a short description of all Dutch participating companies: - Print run 500 leaflets (A4 format, full colour, folded). - Almost all leaflets were distributed during 3 days of exhibition. Preview of Holland Pavilion leaflet guide:

Holland Pavilion paper bag 24x35x10 cm. Printed 1500 pieces for the Holland Pavilion 2018 and used some of the remaining bags in 2019.

Holland Pavilion sustainability program Garbage sorting stations were installed at both sides of business lounge for collecting paper, plastic and paper cups. The garbage was collected and recycled by Zeleniy Ptah organization. All vinyl banners from stand walls were collected by Re:ban organization and will be further use in fashion industry (bags production).

Holland Pavilion entertainment and food Participants and visitors of Holland Pavilion had an opportunity to enjoy real Dutch stroopwafels on Tuesday 19 February.

In general all participants rated lunches and happy hours with high scores. Bread, cakes, cookies and krentenbollen were provided by the Dutch 21.3 bakery.

Holland Pavilion evaluation All 14 participants of the Holland Pavilion have been asked to fill out the online questionnaire (based on Google forms). The results of evaluation are presented in a table following THIS LINK.

Conclusions

- The level of Agro Animal Show, Fruit. Vegetables. Logistics 2019 exhibition was good. Many

companies show interest in participation next year.

- The location of the Holland Pavilion in the exhibition hall was good and relatively easy to find

for visitors. However some companies wished the walls of Holland Pavilion to be higher and

more visible from a distance.

- The majority of participating Dutch companies are satisfied with the organization of the Holland

Pavilion.

- The quality of furniture (chairs and tables) should be improved.

- The costs of participation in Holland Pavilion are too high for many companies, which shared the

Holland Pavilion in 2019. In case they buy floor space from KMKYA directly the price is at

least Euro 60 / m2 lower than what we pay to IWF. The issue of direct cooperation with

KMKYA should be taken into serious consideration during future events.

- During the evaluation meeting with mr. Sergey Vysotskiy, Director of AgroAnimalShow

exhibition at KMKYA on 21 February we have asked him to reconsider the registration fee we

have to pay: 14 participants x Euro 280 = Euro 3.920. Reference: at exhibitions Inprodmash &

Upakovka (organizer: ACCO International) and Fresh Business Expo (organizer: Nova

Exhibitions) we only pay 1 registration fee for the total Holland Pavilion.

- Mr. Sergey Vysotskiy has promised to come back to us not later than April 2019.

- Recycling of garbage at the Holland Pavilion was a pilot project this year. It will be continued

and more carefully planned next year.
