Strengths-Looks professional.-Continuous colour scheme.-Consistent fonts.-All fonts stand out well.-Quote used is effective and popular amongst peers.-Image is clear and has many connotations.-Price and date seem more significant as they’re near the bar code. -Exclusive offers included to draw in potential customers

Weaknesses

-The bar code is positioned wrong, would be more appropriate in a placewhere it’s noticeable, but not interfering with the image. -The banner at the bottom stands out too much as the colour contrasts ,so it draws away from the main image. -Can see too much of the models main torso. -Grey font may be a little dull and sinks into the background.

Opportunities-Reposition the bar code, possibly put it in the bottom corner. -Change the color of the banner at the bottom to maybe black like thetop or perhaps just use the raw background image. -Change information connected to taglines to white.-Resize the image so that there isn’t so much of their main torso’s showing on the front cover.

ThreatsIt would be hard for a new magazineto break through and earn a market share with competitors such as Q and NME, especially as the magazinebears a resemblance to NME.
