On this website, I analysed the music section which shows reviews, ideas and examples of music magazines and publication which I could harbour ideas from in order to incorporate them into my magazine and get ideas from.

This website allowed me to capture ideas and thoughts of how my publication should roughly look in comparison to professionally done magazines and media publications. I took ideas from the articles I saw on this website and incorporated some of them into my own giving my work a more professional and neater touch

Personally I think the ideas that I got from the website helped me greatly into shaping and planning roughly what my production would be and look like

I used Google images in order to get an idea and inspiration on what I would roughly base my magazine on by looking at other articles similar to mine

By looking at Google images I looked at various other publications similar to the one I was going to create and got ideas from to get an idea of what mine should look like. Although I found it fairly easy to find front cover articles, finding double page spreads and feature pages were slightly harder and were less apparent.

I think that by looking at Google images I got a good amount of ideas to transfer to my own publication to make it look more professional and effective

In blogger I viewed other people’s blog also doing AS media to see what they did and view their ideas and publication

I viewed other AS Media publications on the blog to see how other people approached their work helping me develop mine as I was able to see common mistakes which people made helping me to avoid them and common strengths and weaknesses seen throughout different blogs and pieces of work

I think that by viewing this website it contributed to my peice and helped me add and use the more successful work criterias

AS Microsoft Word I used ‘Page layout’ in Microsoft Word to help me divide my feature article into columns to add to my double page spread

It helped me write essays, reviews, articles and to analyse various media publications for my blog

Yes it was successful as without it I wouldn’t of been able to produce the documents and article for my blog

-I think that I need to develop my Photoshop skills more extensively-I

Photoshop In Photoshop I used the ‘Magic Wand’ tool which allowed me to select an image and crop it and then paste it onto another selected background of my choice

This tool helped me greatly when producing my work as without it I wouldn’t of been able to cut and paste my artists’ picture onto the backgrounds for my various pages on my front cover, feature article and double page spread.

Photoshop was essential for all my productions as without it I wouldn’t of been able to produce my work

Camera I adjusted the lens on the camera in order to use the zoom focus tool allowing me to get the correct frame size for my picture

By using the focus on the lens on the camera let me take the desired pictures for my article in the correct style, size and colour

The camera was also an essential piece of equipment as without this I wouldn’t of been able to produce my work

feature in order to then copy and paste the embedded code so that it was useable for blogger

Slide share contributed greatly to the development of my production as it let me upload content onto my blog on blogger showing the examiner my development of my production and how I’ve changed and edited it for it to become my final peace and make it better.

Yes it was successful as slide share allowed me to upload easily and quickly to my blog using the embedded code
