Introduction Technology was an important part of

the development of my media products. For example the use of advanced and new technologies allowed me to produce quality work and also display my products using new media.

Construction

Cannon - the filming of the trailer was conducted using a Cannon camera. This ensured the quality of the filming in HD as well as the quality of the images taken.

Photoshop – This was used to create my posters and magazines. In which to allowed me to manipulate images through the editing used and produce quality work.

Adobe Premier – This software was used to edit my trailer. For example I was able to apply different features to my trailer which allowed it to be effective.

YouTube/ Vimeo - These were types of new media used to present my media products as well as reach my target audience. A number of views were gained from this obtaining audience feedback.

Blog - This is where I documented all my work. It enabled me to organise my work correctly as well as making is assessable for other people to see

Sound Cloud – This was used to find the music for my trailer. It provided me with a variety of songs

I movie- This was used to create my initial pitch. It also built my confidence when editing, allowing me to further explore different software.

Mac - This was used throughout my project. In which it enabled an ease of access for all my work. It was also very fast and efficient which was beneficial to me.

IMBD - This was used to research into other trailers and helped me to deconstruct them through screen shots of different scenes.

Facebook- This was a method used to gain audience feedback about my product and research into my target audience.

Survey Monkey – This was a main software used during the planning of my project. I used this to create surveys for each of my products and gain audience feedback effectively.

Google - This was the main search engine used to research into narrative theories and various film products

Wikipedia - This was used to conduct institutional research and also research into film trailer.

Blogs - I looked at other A2 media blogs before constructing my own media products to gain inspirations.

Photoshop – This was used to plan my ideas when creating my mood board. For example images were collected and put in a collage form to gain inspiration.

Prezi – I used this software todiscuss the feedback I got from my target audience. The software allowed my work to be easily accessible and also allowed me to be creative with my work.

Adobe Premier – When addressing the first question about forms an conventions I presented it in a video form. This allowed me to present information visually and talk over the scenes.

Power point- This was another software used to present my work. In which it allowed me to organise my work and discuss different issues separately.

WordPress/blog – This was the main platform used to present my evaluation.

YouTube – This was used to present my videos and reach a large audience. This was very beneficial as I was able to gain audience feedback.

Slide share - This used when presenting information from power point to place on my blog. Thus allowing it to be easily accessible to the public. I created this to engage with the audience and gain feedback.

Vimeo - This was another platform used to present my videos. It also allowed me to reach a large audience and gain audience feedback.

ConclusionThe technology used throughout this

project was very beneficial. For example I was able to explore different ways of presenting information using different

formats. This as a result built my confidence in using these technologies and also allowed me to produce quality work.
