Question 3 – What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

Bauer media company produce very well known music magazines in the industry. Bauer media company would be a good institution to distribute my media product because of this. If people knew that my magazine was being distributed via Bauer media company as well as other magazines such as 'Q' and 'Kerrang!'. Bauer media company is also a multi national company. It also has Radio and TV in which it shares its media. IPC media is another company that produces well known magazines. IPC media distributes 'NME' which is a very well known music magazine. IPC media company also have a similar target audience to mine. This company would be another good option as an institution to distribute my magazine. Both of these media companies have access to social media. This means that my magazine could be promoted through social media sites such as twitter and facebook. There are many magazines that have their own twitter account. This would be a good way of getting my magazine promoted especially to my target audience. Some magazines have a radio channel. They play the gene of music that their magazine portrays. The radio channels can also be shown on television or they can have television shows where an audience can watch the music videos to the music that is being played.
