Importance of audience feedback

• Part of our project included gathering audience feedback for our music video.

• We had to gather this audience feedback from our target audience which ranged from early teens to young adults.

• Audience feedback is important because it allows producers to have a greater understanding of consumer wants and allows you to change your product to have a greater appeal to its audience.

• As some of our audience feedback show, most people who watched our music video did indeed like it and agreed that it was effective.

• It was also agreed that although we had an attractive female in our video she was not objectified as much as in other hip hop/ rap music videos objectify their video girls.

• The results for this question are not based upon people’s liking for the song but more upon whether or not they’d actually pay for a song when they can simply download the song on an illegal downloading website.

Conclusion from feedback

• From our audience feedback we learnt that our video was generally well received.

• We also learnt that audiences liked our music video just as well as the song “Don’t let me Go”

• As our Youtube video comments show, audiences liked our editing and camera work especially well.
