2. 2. An obvious ways to attract an audience would be poster and promotional freebees etc. However to attract my audience I made a magazine cover for one of the biggest film magazine in the world, empire magazine, I also made a design for a standee with a selection of posters and leaflets.
3. 3. The Colours I used through out on my promotional goods are red, black, grey, and white. The reason for choosing these colours are because they are all very conventional of the thriller genre, and will therefore appeal to the target audience. Also I found out through my research of the genre and in my surveys of the target audience that these colours are most appealing. The reason for using red, black and grey are because they connote violence, death and danger which is closely linked to the thriller and horror genres; so they will appeal to the audience and link closely with my film. I used the colours (red and white) because are typically used in thriller. Each product took me around 1hour to make on Microsoft Word.

Only one image is displayed on one products all being a different, The images I have used appeals to the target audience because its in a setting thats conventional of the genre, it includes conventional mise-en-scene of my characters and the setting and low key lighting, it includes depressed/possessive facial expressions (poster), which are conventional within thriller, and it is also a conventional shot type being a low angle shot.

I know being a teenager myself that technology is extremely important and nearly everyone teenage has a tablet, smartphone, and/or an apple device something all these have in common is they all contain apps so to attract a greater audience I designed my own app for the film.
