evaluation part 2
TRANSCRIPT
How effective is the combination of your main product and
ancillary texts?
The combination between our main
product (the teaser trailer) and our
ancillary texts which include the
magazine front cover and movie poster has
worked well. They all include the same
house style which uses the same colour, size
and font displaying things such as the movie
title – Valery and release dates and slogans.
The same model is used throughout each
media product however is displayed in
different lights, using varied poses and shots
to convey not only differentiation but to
remain consistent. We learnt that it was
important to combine these three things so that
they worked in synergy with each other, this
meant that the audience could relate to the
film by becoming familiar with the font or
colour for example, and this would make them
more aware of the movie.
Release Date
The release date is constant
throughout the Medias.
Paramount Paramount Pictures is
consistent in the trailer and
on the poster
Font
All three integrate well,
all using the same font
when it is about the film.
Tag Line
The line ‘IT TAKES ONE...
TO KNOW ONE’ is
mentioned in the trailer
and is also on the Poster.
QuoteThere is a Quote from Preview magazine on the poster and is also on the front of the magazine.
