Masthead The masthead I have used is sans serif and so it produces an informal and friendly tone. The informality of the cover draws my target audience into reading the magazine as it is created for young adults and this is aesthetically pleasing for this demographic. The black text Image The main image here is a two shot mid shot of the male and female character in the trailer. The positioning of the couple represents the intimacy and attraction between them and this makes it conventional to genre. The audience can see the romance and Colour Scheme I have used a contrasting colour scheme of white with blue and black. The white and black contrast and play against each other making each other bold whilst the blue harmonises and balances out the colours. Their hair colours Route of the eye The route of the eye I have kept conventional and have made the masthead the most striking feature on the cover which means the eye is drawn to it. The route of the eye goes through the optical area, Cover Lines The cover lines I have used across the cover are positioned on the right around the central couple. This makes the cover conventional as it creates a route of the eye and allows the image to be bold.
