In what way does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media

products?

• My front cover is conventional because the title is at the top of the page however it could be unconventional because the picture isn’t in the middle of the page it is slightly to the right that’s why it is unconventional, another conventional aspect is that the front cover has some additional information on the front of the magazine telling you what is inside the magazine.

How does your media product represent

particular social groups?

• My magazine is aimed at a certain social group who are interested in a different kind of music, such as indie music. I think I have achieved this by using a plain background but the correct layout and the correct information that would be appealing to the right audience.

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

• I have learnt to use the website blogger and how to post blogs so that people can see and comment on also my image editing skills on fireworks have also improved and the main thing that I have learned is that the way a magazine is lay out and the colours that are used all depends on how well the magazine sells.
