What have you learnt about the technologies from the process of constructing this product
Being someone who has never used Adobe Photoshop before I have picked up on many different skills including on how to utilise different tools to create texts and to add different effects to them such as the Stroke tool, to make them easier to read.
I also retouched my original photograph by using brightness and contrast adjustments to give an airbrushed and flawless complexion to my model.I used the brush tool to edit
out my background into white, I could have used an easier option for this!
I also learnt that Photoshop works in layers to construct your photo, this is useful as you can conveniently locate each part of your picture and use the eye tool to see whether it looks better with or whatever it
Being able to construct different shapes such as the elliptical for my puff was also very useful.
What have you learnt about the technologies from the process of constructing this product
Through experimenting in Indesign with my contents page, I found out how to add the lines around my circular photos to give it a bit of decoration using the Stroke tool.
How I created my vertical text, this I copied from Photoshop and ‘placed’ in Indesign.
I fitted the circles to proportion with the Fit to Proportion tool in the top left, this meant that the photos fit completely inside the elliptical neatly.
