The Third Generation TangoRail

It was TangoRail that pioneered the concept of low

cost self adjusting railings, in styles to suit most

applications.

Not being content with this award winning

development, the engineers at TangoRail have

pushed technological boundaries even further:

No Sag

The strength of the TangoRail panel derives from the

design of the horizontal rails. Even welded railing

panels need sag brackets, but now TangoRail’s HD rail

withstands a downward pressure well in excess of

200kg with no permanent distortion.

No sag brackets are needed with the HD rail system

Minimum Rattle

Self adjusting railings have always been prone to

some rattle, but the new TangoRail system minimises,

if not eliminates this issue.

Improved Components

Virtually every component in the TangoRail system

has been re-assessed resulting in new tooling and

improved performance.

We’ve introduced three brand new alloy ornamental

finials, so the improvements are seen as well as

hidden in it’s construction.

All this means that TangoRail provides Best Value in

terms of initial cost, zero maintenance and fitness for

purpose.

Anti-intruder and vandal resistance are key

design issues in the Commercial/Industrial

range provided by TangoRail. With heights up to

2.4 metres and spearheaded by the TangoRail

TR400 system utilising square section tubular

infill for maximum strength, and TR250 where

minimum vertical gap dimension is important,

TangoRail provides good-looking perimeter

protection, at low cost.

TangoRail Types

The principal TangoRail types ideal for higher security applications are:

TR400 (square tube infill) providingoptimum vertical strength.

TR200 (round tube) with tops cut at 45° creating a climbing deterrent.

TR150 or TR250 with closer tubepositions producing a deterrent toattack through the barrier. Furthermore,TR250 has 45° cuts to the top creatingadditional anti-climbing deterrent.

For TangoRail types of 1.8 metres andabove the HD heavy duty rolled sectionpost is supplied as standard.

Imaginative railings to house frontages have the

immediate effect of lifting an otherwise lacklustre

The TangoRail TR800 railing complieswith all guidelines provided by RoSPAand conforms where applicable to BS EN 1176-1.

The TR800 product is unique in that itis provided with a circular post, notonly allowing for changes in directionand slope, but is also designed so thatthere are no finger traps.

The standard TR800 complies withHead Trap, Neck Trap, Finger Trap andclothes entanglement criteria, soimportant for playground applications.
