Value Retail Villages
Hammerson has significant investment in Value Retail. We are invested in Value Retail’s highly successful premium outlet villages which operate in major cities throughout Europe, and work directly with major fashion brands to create a bespoke, high-quality environment for the sale of their original-line goods.
Hammerson is the only UK listed REIT to have strategic exposure to the outlet shopping centre sector.

VIA Outlets Investments
In September 2014 Hammerson invested in VIA Outlets, a major new venture with the aim of acquiring existing European outlet centres with growth potential. Alongside Hammerson, the other partners in VIA Outlets are Value Retail, APG and Meyer Bergman. Since the creation of VIA Outlets the partnership has invested over €300million creating a portfolio of 150,000 sq m of retail space and in excess of 500 stores.
