Conclusions INSPIRE strengths: The EU has got an entire legal FW for aninterconnected GI Infrastructure, a chance to createseamless data and interoperable services.

Nevertheless, the cluster pilot shows:

• the interpretations or DS versions can differ ‐ data may not match;

• the ICT domain has been evolving outside this legal FW (basedon standards), this creates new tendences and discrepancies;

• there are additional challenges (legal, organisational etc.) concerning the creation or maintenance of cross‐border data sets and services;

• still a LOT of WORK to reach the INSPIRE goals.
