INTRODUCTIONInternational Financial Law Review is launching the European In-houseCounsel Summit in London in January 2013. The event comes off the backof the enormous success of the magazine's Hong Kong event which attract-ed over 400 registrants. The London-based event will bring together in-house counsel from top European corporates (public and private) and UKand European-based banks. In-house counsel and banking professionalswill attend for free.
Based on successful events such as the IFLR European Capital MarketsForum in London, there will be over 200 potential law firm clients in theroom.
The programme has been developed in conjunction with general counselsfrom top corporates and banks and will deliver an update on the broadrange of legal and commercial issues that in-house counsel face on a dailybasis. There will be special focus on matters relating to financial law,including M&A, capital markets and competition.
As with other events, IFLR will be working with international and local asso-ciations to ensure that the event is an unprecedented success.
