The FuturICT ICT VisionFuturICT aims at a paradigm shift towards global scale systems that are

socially awaresocially adaptive, socially inclusive

which self organise and autonomously evolve using principles inspired by social systems and complexity science.

Living Earth SimulatorA sophisticated concept that includes the creation of a platform for models, simulation, and visualisation of social-technological-economic-environmental global changes.

Observatories will be established to mine data and model social behaviour.

Decision arenas built to collate all available information into specific locations to allow policy makers to run scenarios and for crisis management. Innovation leading to value added benefit in
