continuity of care and the right of Europeans citizens to choose their own healthcare provider.
D. Overcoming Implementation challenges• Develop, implement and deploy consistent eHealth enablers
based on agreed common frameworks for interoperability, security, competencies and evaluation.

EXPECTED RESULTS AND IMPACT OF THE JA SUPPORTING THE eHEALTHNETWORK
1. Facilitate cross-border healthcare across the EU and overcome barriers in the implementation of digital solutions in Member States’ healthcare systems
2. Provide the necessary policy support to the digital service infrastructure (eHDSI) with a view to implementing the Commission’s Digital Single Market Strategy as regards interoperability and standardization

• Supporting EC on drafting the EC Recommendation on the Electronic Health Record
Exchange Format (EHRxF);
• Definition of the content of EHRxF;
• Discuss topic about data encoding formats, and specifications for exchange protocol
elements.
