EUROMAG FLOW METER – Earthing Guide
All Euromag flow meters are supplied with an earth lead fitted to the earth screw.
For compact mounted versions the earth screw is located directly underneath the converter display (see Fig.1) and for remote mounted versions it is located on the sensor junction box (see Fig.2). An earth cable is also connected from the earth screw to the earth bolts on both flanges.

When the flow meter is used on plastic pipes or metal pipes equipped with cathodic protection it is recommended that an additional earth cable be fitted to the earth screw which is to be independently grounded (see Fig.4).
DO NOT connect the earthing of the flow meter to any mains power earthing or the earthing of any external electrical equipment.
The meter also comes with an additional earth lead fitted to each earth bolt. This lead should be connected to the grounding rings supplied with the flow meter. The bolts and M8 nuts for fitting the grounding rings are also supplied.
To ensure a watertight seal a gasket should be fitted on either side of the grounding rings (see Fig.3).
