COMBUSTION CHAMBER

Is made of special cast iron base and its walls are lined with vermiculite panels. Its shape and dimensions are optimized to allow effective airflow control, which assists near perfect combustion.

VERMICULITE LINING

Vermiculite panels insulate the walls of combustion chamber. They can sustain very high combustion temperatures, which increases efficiency of burning and decreases carbon emissions. Another characteristic of vermiculite is that it reflects the heat creating powerful radiation. The result is very high efficiency and heat-retention.

AIR SUPPLY-POST COMBUSTION

Optimal combustion requires fresh air. There are two ways to feed fresh air into a combustion chamber: 1. Primary air - igniting phase 2. Secondary air - combustion phase and air wash of the glass pane

Air supply is operated by one or two controls depending on the type of fireplace. Amount of air supplied controls the rate of burning. In Andorra and Falun style fireplaces the air supply can be connected to the exterior (independent air supply).

CONVECTION -A NATURAL SUBSTITUTE FOR ELECTRIC FANS

Convection is a process, which creates airflow between the inner and outer wall of the fireplace.

As the temperature inside the combustion chamber rises, the surrounding air mass gets heated up and is being pushed out through the vents on top of the heater.

The cold air is drawn in through the vents at the bottom of the heater at the same time. This creates a constant air movement that continues while the heater is in operation.

Convection combined with radiation through the glass work so effectively that properly operated fireplace will produce warmth quickly and will ensure effective heat distribution throughout the building.

Refractory concrete can be installed in: Andorra exclusive, Rodano, Sevilla, Cadis, Delia, Brixen, Falun Ceramic. Another example of Heat Bank Technology are fireplaces clad with Serpentino stone.

This natural high thermal mass stone boasts a beautiful colour and natural texture truly complementing the ambience of burning fire. Represented in models Falun Serpentino and Delia Serpentino.
