Authors are proposing an alternative way of using hydrogen fuel generated by electrolysis of sea water powered from solar PV technology. Solar powered boat MS-Turanor design is taken for comparison purpose. Hydrogen can be freely generated & stored easily in compressed form in bigger tanks enough for a week long main propulsion of cargo ships. Cost per ton per mile is lesser
