Washbasin Abisko – the natural fall of the waterBathroom today – is not only room which provides washing facilities, it is a sacred and private place where people spending time revitalising and making themselves beautiful . The bathroom should meet highest esthetical requirements and be able to take the mind away from daily routine, contributing to relaxation and, maybe, meditation .To share our experience of turning daring ideas to extraordinary design we are now presenting new con-cept of an exclusive Abisko washbasin, designed by Swedish architects Johan Kauppi and Lars Sundström, We Think AB, the part of Developing Design Sweden AB .

Das natürliche Fließen des Wassers Das heutige Badezimmer ist nicht nur ein Raum, der Waschmöglichkeiten bietet, sondern vielmehr quasi ein privates Heiligtum, wo Menschen Zeit verbringen, um sich zu regenerieren und ihre Schönheit zu pflegen . Deshalb sollte das Badezimmer den höchsten ästhetischen Ansprüchen genügen, die Gedanken aus dem Alltagstrott entfliehen lassen und zum Entspannen, vielleicht sogar zum Meditieren anregen . Um unsere Erfahrungen darin, gewagte Ideen in ein außergewöhnliches Design umzusetzen, zu teilen, präsentieren wir jetzt ein neues Konzept des exklusiven Abisko Waschbeckens, kreiert von den schwedischen Architekten Johan Kauppi und Lars Sundström von We Think AG, Developing Design Sweden AG .

Elle doit satisfaire les exigences esthétiques les plus hautes et permettre à l’esprit de s’évader de la routine quotidienne, contribuer à la relaxation et, peut-être, à la méditation .Pour partager notre expérience dans la conversion d’idées audacieuses en design d’exception, nous présen-tons le concept nouveau et exclusif du lavabo Abisko, conçu par les architectes suédois Johann Kauppi et Lars Sundström, de «We Think AB», une division de «Developing Design Sweden AB» .

SculptureAbisko means a free and moderate treatment of water, without drain pipes and other unnecessary details around . The simplicity should enhance the water to something more valuable than “just water” . Pure water is not a matter of course, but an exclusive product of nature that shouldn’t be accumulated in big tubs . Just like in nature, you find your own way to catch the water to be used with carefulness and moderation .

SkulpturAbisko ist gleichbedeutend mit einem freien und gemäßigten Umgang mit Wasser, der ganz ohne Ablaufrohre und andere überflüssige Teile auskommt . Diese Schlichtheit soll dazu anregen, Wasser als etwas viel wertvolleres als “nur Wasser” wahrzunehmen . Reines Wasser ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit, sondern ein exklusives Produkt der Natur, das nicht in großen Gefäßen aufgesammelt werden sollte . Genauso wie in der Natur, werden Sie Ihren eigenen Weg finden, das benötigte Wasser mit Sorgfalt und Rücksicht einzufangen .

SculptureAbisko défend un traitement libre et mesuré de l’eau, sans tuyau d’évacuation ni accessoire inutile . Cette simplicité donne à l’eau un statut supérieur à celui d’une « eau ordinaire » . L’eau pure ne va pas de soi, c’est un produit de la nature qui ne devrait pas stagner dans de grands bassins . Tout comme dans la nature, trouvez votre propre manière d’utiliser l’eau avec mesure .

ORIGAMI WASHBASINAll design starts with a blank sheet of paper, some even ends with it . Origami washbasin ends with it, so that you can start designing your bathroom . As you can see Origami is inspired by something as simple as a folded blank sheet of paper . Made entirely from the material CreaCore, the white matt basin gives an individual look to the entire bathroom .

Origami is suitable both for a private market and public contexts as hotels or night clubs . The unusual style of Origami washbasin contrasts pleasantly with both - classic as well as with modern contemporary interiors . The sit-on model gives you more freedom of design in terms of placement both washbasin and faucet .

ORIGAMI WASCHBECKENAlle Designentwürfe fangen mit einem leeren Blatt Papier an, manche aber enden sogar damit . CreaCore is unique and technologically advanced vacuum-treated composite material, constituted by a high percentage of natural minerals and a small percentage of extremely pure acrylic modified polyester (which is homogenies mixture with no surface layer) . CreaCore is 100% recyclable . One of greatest advantage – is the material is repairable so the stains and eventual scratches could be removed easily by using the abrasive sponge and detergent .

The material requires a mid soap and soft cloth daily care. The CreaCore surface withstands most types of detergent . By testing according to the instructions attached with the product the most suitable substances for institutional cleaning can be found .

Ingrained dirt can be removed from the surface by using machine dishwashing liquids . When necessary the liquid can be left on the surface overnight . Also great results gives using “Scotch Brite©” abrasive melamine sponge, that remove most of the dirt with a help of water .

After long contact periods, several substances like ink, cosmetics and dyes, may leave discoloration . That could be remove by following instructions bellow, treating the discolored area as a scratch .

Bigger scratches can be removed by re-sanding the surface . Sanding papers of water quality are used, e .g . 180, 240 and 400 . After the sanding the surface is treated with furniture oil (e .g . JOHNSSON, ASTROM: Liquid Polisher etc .) After the oil has been absorbed into the surface the surface is washed with a mild soap solution .

When taking a new surface into use it is recommended that the surface is cleaned with a soap based detergent, which is then washed away with water . If needed the new surface can be treated with thin furniture oil, e .g . Pledge . After the oil has absorbed the surface is washed with a mild soap solution .

Please do not use following substances: Solvent agents like acetone or trichloroethylene, as well as other aggressive chemical substances like strong acids (muriatic acid…) or bases (caustic soda…) . Detergents for industrial use or others of unknown aggressive action: in this case a test on a spot not in view should be done before application . Hartnäckige Verschmutzungen können von der Oberfläche mit hochkonzentrierten Flüssiggeschirrspülmitteln entfernt werden . Falls nötig, kann man das Mittel über Nacht auf die Oberfläche einwirken lassen . Man erzielt ebenso gute Ergebnisse mit dem groben Scotch Brite © Melaminschwamm, der den meisten Schmutz nur mit Hilfe von Wasser entfernt .

Nach längerem Kontakt können mehrere Substanzen wie Tinte, Kosmetika und Farbstoffe Verfärbungen hinterlassen . Diese können entfernt werden, indem Sie nachfolgende Anweisungen befolgen und die verfärbte Fläche genauso wie einen Kratzer behandeln .

Gröbere Kratzer können durch erneutes Abschleifen der Oberfläche entfernt werden . Verwenden Sie dafür wasserfestes Schleifpapier, z . B . mit Körnung 180, 240 oder 400 . Nach dem Abschleifen behandeln Sie die Oberfläche mit Möbelöl (z .B . JOHNSSON, ASTROM: Flüssigpolitur usw .) nach . Nachdem das Öl in der Oberfläche absorbiert wurde, waschen Sie die Oberfläche mit einer milden Seifenlauge .

Bei der Inbetriebnahme einer neuen Oberfläche wird empfohlen, die Oberfläche mit einem Reinigungsmittel auf Seifenbasis zu reinigen und mit Wasser nachzuspülen . Bei Bedarf kann die neue Oberfläche mit einer dünnflüssigen Möbelpolitur, wie z .B . Pledge, behandelt werden . Entretien quotidien : un détergent courant et un chiffon doux suffisent.Une surface en CreaCore supporte la plupart des détergents . Un essai conduit conformément aux instructions jointes au produit permettra de déterminer les substances les plus appropriées au nettoyage dans un établissement .

La saleté incrustée peut être retirée en usant des liquides détergents de machine à laver la vaisselle . Si nécessaire, le liquide peut être laissé sur la tache pendant une nuit . On obtient également d’excellents résultats avec une éponge abrasive mélaminée « Scotch Brite© », qui permet d’enlever le plus gros des saletés avec juste un peu d’eau .

About Mineral Marble Presence All Over the WorldThe technology of mineral marble manufact-uring was invented and patented in the USA in the nineteen-sixties .

The high mechanical and physical-chemical characteristics of cast marble and the variety of product application prove the perspective of mineral marble as a new construction material providing a solution for a whole complex of tasks . Mineral marble has perfectly recommended itself and has a major significance among the materials to be used in creating of the interior design . This composite material can justifiably be called the material of the “new generation”, the popularity of which grows every day .

This relatively new, ecologically clean material corresponds to all hygienic requirements and international standards . It is harmless for human health and the environment . It has been actively used in the construction industry in five continents for almost 50 years .

What is Cast Marble?The term “’mineral marble” stands for a polymeric compound of a mineral filler and synthetic binder . During the process a mixture of mineral and synthetic binder of precise consistency is used for in duration into the mould . Marble powder is used as the mineral filler, forming over 80% of the total weight of the product . In order to give the surface of the product higher strength and durability, the surface of cast marble is covered with a specific wear proof gel coating (“Gelcoat”) .

Maintenance How to take care of cast marble?

Every day care. Cast marble products only need basic care . Just use a soft cloth or sponge with some cleaning agent . In order to give your product a high-lustre shine, use a window cleaner agent . The shine and luster of the surface can be restored by using a non-scouring type of car wax two or three times per year . This will make the care-taking of the product much easier in the future and at the same time enhance its durability .

Removal of hard and rusty water deposits. In order to remove hard water deposits from cast marble surfaces, use a mild mixture of vinegar and water . In case of eventual difficult stains use a spot remover . Assure yourself to give the washbasin a good rinse after cleaning . Regular care protects the products from hard water deposits . In order to renew cast marble surfaces use a polishing paste and disk .

Maintenance of mat surface Every day care . For every day care to use a soft cloth or sponge with cleaning agent .

NB! Chosen out cleaning agent shouldn’t contain ingredients (for example wax) meant for surface polishing . Regular care is important as it protects the product from hard water deposits!

Removal of hard and rusty water deposits . To remove hard stains from mat surfaces is very efficient to use special sponge of rigid melamine resin and water without any cleaning agent .

NB! Please don’t use melamine sponge for glossy products .

Attention! Never use abrasive (scouring-type) cleaners or aggressive chemical agents. Never spill hot water or place objects with high tempera-ture on the surface of the product. The maximum use temperature is +80°C, however we recommend + 60 what is actually standard tap water temperature. If you use an electrical boiler, beware not to spill overheated water on the product.

Um Ihr Waschbecken zum Hochglanz zu bringen, verwenden Sie Glasreiniger . Der satte Glanz der Oberfläche kann wiederhergestellt werden, indem Sie das Waschbecken zwei- oder dreimal jährlich mit einem nicht scheuernden Autowachs nachpolieren . Pour donner à votre produit un brillant impeccable, utilisez un produit pour les vitres . Le brillant et l’éclat peuvent être ravivés en utilisant deux ou trois fois par an un produit lustrant non abrasif pour automobile . Cela facilitera l’entretien quotidien et renforcera la durabilité du produit .

Traitement de dépôts calcaires ou ferrugineux : pour éliminer des dépôts causés par une eau très calcaire sur une surface en marbre moulé, utiliser un mélange dilué de vinaigre et d’eau . En cas de taches difficiles, utiliser un agent anti-taches . Rincer soigneusement le lavabo après le nettoyage .

Un entretien régulier protège les produits contre les dépôts solides . Pour raviver des surfaces en marbre moulé, utiliser une pâte et un disque de polissage .

The countertop and the bowl produced as separate pieces and get assembled afterwards at the produc-tion. The gap between the bowl and the countertop is filed with silicone.

Undercounter application of the bowl. Also other brands’ undercounter bowls are possible to attach to Sibylla public countertop. Please indicate the exact location of the bowl at the order.

Die Waschtischplatte und das Waschbecken werden getrennt hergestellt und bei der Produktion später zusammengefügt. Die Fuge zwischen Becken und Tischplatte wird mit Silikon abgedichtet.

Custom-sized washbasinsThe used technology allows in each specific case to take into account the sizes and configurations of the room to where washbasin should be integrated . The size could be made exactly to the last millimetre and according to your wishes adapted to the place with the highest accuracy .

Adapting washbasins to sidewall configurationsNot every corner of a room is an exact right angle, even though it may look like one . That’s why you should always measure the angle of the walls to each other . Even if your sidewall configurations for some reason do not reach 90 degrees condition for normal surrounding, with the help of edge cutting it can be balanced out and perfectly fit . An exact measurement at this stage makes sub-sequent installation a matter of perfect millimetre precision (only more than 2 mm deviations of the angles should be considered) . Sometimes a room is so far out of right angle that it becomes too difficult to take exact measurements . In such cases we advise you to make a 1:1 template out of hardboard or thick cardboard and enclose it with the order!

Edge restoration / Sidewall panels prefabricationIf after installation, trimmed sides of made-to-size washbasin will remain visible, we recommend you to order edge restoration by adding gel coat surface on trimmed edge or sidewall panel, if washbasin have panel prefabrication in the front.

Maßgefertigte WaschtischeDank unserer Technologie ist es möglich, in jedem spezifischen Fall die Maße und die Anordnung des Raumes, in dem das Waschbecken integriert werden soll, zu berücksichtigen . Die Maße des Waschtisches können millimetergenau adaptiert und dem vorhandenen Platz Ihren Wünschen entsprechend exakt angepasst werden .

Waschtische an die Seitenwand-Konfigurationen anpassenNicht alle Zimmerecken bilden genau einen rechten Winkel, obwohl es den Anschein haben kann . Deshalb müssen Sie immer unbedingt ausmessen, in welchem Winkel die Wände zueinander stehen . Sogar wenn Ihre Seitenwandkonfiguration aus irgendeinem Grund die stan-dardmäßigen 90° nicht erreicht, kann es mit entsprechendem seitlichen Zuschnitt korrigiert werden, so dass der Waschtisch perfekt passt . Ein präzises Ausmessen in diesem Stadium macht die folgende Installation zu einer perfekten millimetergenauen Angelegenheit (nur größere Winkelabweichungen als 2 mm sollten berücksichtigt werden) .Manchmal ist das Zimmer von einem rechten Winkel so weit entfernt, dass es zu kompliziert wird, genaue Maße festzuhalten . In solchen Fällen empfehlen wir Ihnen, eine 1:1 Vorlage aus starker Pappe oder Hartfaserplatte zu erstellen und diese beim Bestellen mitzuschicken!

Schnittflächenbearbeitung / DeckleisteFalls die zugeschnittenen Seiten des maßgefertigten Waschtisches nach der Montage sichtbar bleiben, empfehlen wir, auf die Schnittfläche zusätzlich eine schützende Lackschicht auftragen zu lassen oder eine vorgefertigte Deckleiste zu bestellen .

Lavabos sur mesureNotre technologie nous permet dans chaque cas de prendre en compte les dimensions et la configuration de la pièce où le lavabo doit être installé . La taille peut être spécifiée au millimètre près, pour s’adapter avec une précision totale à votre emplacement .

Adaptation d’un lavabo à un angleLes coins d’une pièce ne sont pas toujours à angle droit, même s’ils le paraissent . C’est la raison pour laquelle il faut toujours mesurer l’angle formé par deux murs . Même si votre configuration d’angle n’est pas exactement à 90°, il est possible de réaliser une adaptation impeccable en découpant les bords . Une mesure exacte à ce stade permet de réaliser ensuite une installation précise au millimètre près (seules des déviations dépassant 2 mm sont à prendre en considération) .Il arrive qu’un coin soit si éloigné de l’angle droit qu’il devienne difficile de prendre des mesures exactes . Dans ce cas, nous vous conseillons de réaliser un gabarit à l’échelle 1:1, en contreplaqué ou en carton fort, et de le joindre à votre commande .

Restauration des bords / préfabrication des panneaux latérauxSi, après l’installation, un bord découpé d’un lavabo réalisé sur mesure demeure visible, nous vous recommandons de réaliser une restauration du bord par addition d’un gel protecteur sur la surface découpée ou sur le panneau latéral, dans le cas où l’avant de ce dernier a subi une découpe .

Planning recommendationDraw a sketch of were and how you want to install your washbasin . Make sure all the pipes (water supply, tray and electric supply) will be in the right place and height (sketch Nr . 1) . Make sure that you can easily access later for servicing and maintenance! Plan in an extra margin of 500 mm on the top and around the perimeter of the washbasin .

Measuring recommendationIn order to prevent any unnecessary misunderstandings, we have listed a few definitions and tips which should considerably simplify measure-ment and subsequent installation of the washbasins . A measurement work requires absolute precision! Following measuring tools are needed:

– Pencil – Tape measure – Protractor* The telescopic yardstick helps you to determine measurements faster, more easily and with greater accuracy . This is especially useful if you don’t have a second person to hold things in place for you . The pull-out measuring stick is idea for measuring from wall to wall .

Washbasin final dimensions (from wall to wall) should be taken from finished and tiled wall to tiled wall . When calculating the washbasin dimensions, expansion joints of 2 to 3 mm have to be taken into account at each side (washbasin dimensions = finished dimensions – expansion joints) .

Please note!1 . The level of installation usually is 820-850 mm and means height upper edge of washbasin above finished-floor level . Always

hold the telescopic rule, protractor or yardstick at a height of 820 to 850 mm and measure there .2 . Not every corner of a room is an exact right angle, even though it may look like one . That’s why you should always measure

the angle of the walls to each other . Consider depth of washbasin! An exact measurement at this stage makes subsequent installation a matter of perfect millimeter precision (only more than 2 mm deviations of the angles should be considered) .

3 . Sometimes a room is so far out of right angle that it becomes too difficult to take exact measurements . In such cases we advise you to make a 1:1 template out of hardboard or thick cardboard and enclose it with the order!

4 . Please make sure that plumbing and water outlet location correspond with the location of the basin and the drilled holes for taps in the model you select .

Empfehlung zur PlanungHalten Sie zuerst auf einer Skizze fest, wo und wie Sie Ihr Waschbecken montieren möchten . Empfehlungen zum AusmessenUm unnötige Missverständnisse zu vermeiden, haben wir für Sie hier einige Hinweise und Erklärungen zusammengestellt, die das Ausmessen und die folgende Montage des Waschbeckens bedeutend vereinfachen sollten . Das Abmessen verlangt absolute Genauigkeit!Dazu benötigen Sie folgende Messwerkzeuge: – Bleistift – Maßband – Winkelmesser* Die Teleskop-Messlatte hilft Ihnen, die Abmessungen schneller, einfacher und genauer durchzuführen . Sie ist besonders praktisch, wenn Sie keine zweite Person haben, die Ihnen dabei helfen kann, die Sachen an der Stelle zu halten . Die ausziehbare Messlatte hilft auch, den Abstand von Wand zu Wand punktgenau abzumessen .

Die endgültigen (Wand-zu-Wand) Maße des Waschtisches sollten unbedingt von fertig verfliesten Wänden aus gemessen werden!Beim Ausrechnen der Waschtischmaße müssen auf beiden Seiten Ausdehnungsabstände von 2-3 mm einkalkuliert werden (Waschtischmaße = Abstand zwischen den fertig verfliesten Wänden – Ausdehnungsfugen) .

Achtung!1 . Die Montagehöhe ist gewöhnlich 820-850 mm . Damit ist die Oberkantenhöhe des Wachbeckens, gemessen von der fertigen Bode-

noberfläche, gemeint . Zum Abmessen halten Sie immer die Teleskop-Messlatte oder den Winkelmesser in der Höhe von 820 oder 850 mm an der Wand und messen von dort .

2 . Nicht alle Zimmerecken bilden genau einen rechten Winkel, obwohl es den Anschein haben kann . Deshalb müssen Sie immer un-bedingt ausmessen, in welchem Winkel die Wände zueinander stehen . Berücksichtigen Sie dabei die Tiefe des Waschbeckens . Ein präzises Ausmessen in diesem Stadium macht die folgende Installation zu einer perfekten millimetergenauen Angelegenheit (nur größere Winkelabweichungen als 2 mm sollten berücksichtigt werden) .

3 . Manchmal ist das Zimmer von einem rechten Winkel so weit entfernt, dass es zu kompliziert wird, genaue Maße festzuhalten . In solchen Fällen empfehlen wir Ihnen, eine 1:1 Vorlage aus starker Pappe oder Hartfaserplatte zu erstellen und diese beim Bestellen mitzuschicken!

4 . Bitte versichern Sie sich, dass der Wasseranschluss und der Abfluss dem vorgesehenen Standpunkt des Waschtisches und den vorgebohrten Armaturlöchern entsprechen .

*Wie man die Waschtische im Falle der nicht im rechten Winkel befindlichen Wände anpassen kann, sehen Sie bitte in unserem Kapitel Maßfertigungen nach (Seite 108) .

Recommandations pour la préparationTracez un croquis de l’emplacement où vous voulez installer le lavabo . Recommandation pour les mesuresPour éviter les confusions inutiles, nous énumérons ci-dessous quelques définitions et conseils qui devraient considérablement simplifier la prise de mesures et l’installation du lavabo . La prise de mesures exige une précision absolue !Les instruments suivants sont nécessaires : – Crayon ; – Mètre ruban ; – Rapporteur .* Un mètre télescopique permet de prendre des mesures plus rapidement, plus facilement et avec une plus grande précision . Il s’avère par-ticulièrement utile lorsqu’on ne dispose pas d’une seconde personne pour tenir les objets en place . Le mètre ruban télescopique est idéal pour prendre des mesures de mur à mur .Les dimensions finales du lavabo (de mur à mur) doivent être prises une fois les murs finis et carrelés .Pour calculer les dimensions d’un lavabo, il faut tenir compte de joints d’expansion de 2 à 3 mm de chaque côté (dimensions du lavabo = dimensions totales – largeur des joints d’expansion) .

Indications importantes !1 . La hauteur d’installation est habituellement de 820 à 850 mm : on entend par là la hauteur du bord supérieur du lavabo par

rapport au sol . Positionner le mètre à cette hauteur et marquer .2 . Tous les coins d’une pièce ne sont pas toujours à angle droit, même s’ils paraissent l’être . C’est la raison pour laquelle il faut

toujours mesurer les angles des murs . Prenez en considération la profondeur du lavabo . Une mesure exacte à ce stade permet par la suite une installation exacte au millimètre près (seules des déviations supérieures à 2 mm sont à prendre en considération) .

3 . Si un angle est si éloigné de l’angle droit que la prise de mesure est difficile, nous vous conseillons de réaliser un patron à l’échelle 1:1 en contreplaqué ou en carton rigide et de nous l’adresser avec la commande .

4 . Assurez-vous que la plomberie et l’emplacement de l’évacuation coïncident avec l’emplacement du lavabo et des trous de perçage pour le robinet dans le modèle que vous avez sélectionné .

Plumbing workWater supply (hot and cold water) connections with the shut-off valves to be located on back wall at the 560-680 mm height above finished-floor level in the middle of the washbowl . There must be a drain located in the back wall at the 480-540 mm above finished-floor in the middle of the washbowl or in the flour and 40-50 mm in diameter . Make sure that you can easily access later for servicing and maintenance (sketch Nr . 1) .

Please order water supply connection valves, decorated covers and trap (siphon) separately (see page Nr .118) or please refers to the closest sanitary shop or dealer . Most of standard bottle traps (G1 ¼”) are suitable!

Washbasins with backside installation skirting (sketch Nr .2) . These washbasins are equipped with installation holes and supplies with customary stone bolts and dowels . Number and grouping of installation holes to be seen in the installation manual for each washbasin .

Determination of brackets amountsIn our product range (page 106) you can find a several kinds of brackets for different mounting situation (sketch Nr . 4) . Number and type of brackets dependent on the washstand length, depth and the installation situation .

In case your washbasin border with sidewalls, we recommend to install the washbasins using sidewall brackets with sidewall connection . If washbasin sides remain visible please use console brackets fastening them to the back wall or in mix-situation please use combination of both brackets .

In case washbasin is not longer than 1000 mm, 2 brackets are enough to get supporting of the washbasin . In case your countertop is longer, please add one, two or more angle console brackets next to each other with 600 mm steps forward . A bracket between the basins is required for all double, triple and etc . wash stands .

Wie wird die Anzahl der Träger ermitteltIn unserer Produktübersicht (Seite 106) finden sie verschiedene Halterungen für unterschiedliche Montagearten (siehe Skizze Nr .4) . Die Anzahl und der Typ der Halterungen hängt von der Breite und Tiefe des Waschtisches sowie von der Montagesituation ab .

Falls Ihr Waschbecken an den Seitenwänden angrenzt, empfehlen wir, die Waschbecken mit Hilfe der Seitenwandhalterungen so zu montieren, dass der Waschtisch bündig an der Seitenwand anschließt . Falls die Waschbeckenseiten sichtbar bleiben, verwenden Sie bitte Konsolenhalterungen für die Montage an der Rückwand oder kombinieren Sie beide Halterungsarten .

Falls der Waschtisch nicht über 1000 mm breit ist, reichen 2 Halterungen aus, um das Waschbecken zu stützen . Falls Ihre Waschtischplatte länger ist, fügen Sie bitte eine oder zwei Konsolen-halterungen in einem Abstand von 600 mm dazu . Für alle Waschtische mit zwei, drei oder mehreren Waschbecken ist je eine Halterung zwischen den Waschbecken erforderlich .

Détermination du nombre d’équerresDans notre gamme de produits (page no 106), vous trouverez plusieurs types d’équerres, correspondant à diverses situations de montage (schéma no 4) . Le nombre et le type de supports dépend le la longueur de la table de toilette, de sa profondeur et de la situation de montage .

Si votre lavabo est bordé par des murs latéraux, nous recommandons une installation avec des équerres latérales, fixées dans les murs latéraux . Si les côtés du lavabo demeurent visibles, utilisez des consoles-équerres, à fixer sur le mur du fond . Dans une situation mixte, utilisez une combinaison appropriée de ces deux techniques .

Si la longueur du lavabo ne dépasse pas 1000 mm, deux équerres suffisent à le supporter . Si le plan de toilette est d’une dimension supérieure, ajoutez une, deux ou plusieurs équerres, avec un écartement de 600 mm Une équerre entre les vasques est nécessaire pour les vasques doubles, triples, etc .

Installing to the wallPlease ensure that the walls are strong enough and can bear the load at the washstand’s installation height . For sufficient stability of washstands an adequate load carrying capacity of the installation walls has to be statically ensured! Some plaster building materials do not fulfill these requirements . This can be remedied by installing suitable under constructions (sketch Nr . 5) .

The washbasins need to be glued in order to avoid displacing . Apply adequate construction glues on brackets and on the backside of the washbasin surface which lays on supports . The gabs between the washbasin and the wall should be bridged with silicon . The glue spots have to be free of dust and grease and have to be used according to the producer’s instructions (sketch Nr . 6) . Please use some kind of temporary devices for supporting in the front of basin for a several hours in order you silicon (glue) dry out .

Please note that dimensional tolerances up to 2 mm are possible, as each washbasin is individually manufactured to order . The washbasin must be covered if further tiling or mirror fitting work is to be carried out after installation .

WandmontageBitte versichern Sie sich, das die Wände ausreichend stark sind, um das Gewicht an der Montagehöhe des Waschtisches zu tragen . Für eine ausreichende Stabilität des Waschtisches muss die adäquate Tragkraft der für die Montage vorgesehenen Wand statisch geprüft werden! Manche Gipsbaustoffe erfüllen diese Forderungen nicht . In diesem Fall kann man als Abhilfe spezielle verstärkende Hilfskonstruktionen montieren (sehe Skizze Nr . 5) .

Um ein Verrutschen zu vermeiden, müssen die Waschbecken zusätzlich mit Klebstoff fixiert werden . Tragen sie den passenden Montageklebstoff sowohl auf die Träger als auch auf die Kon-taktstellen des Waschbeckens auf . Die Fugen zwischen dem Beckenrand und der Wand müssen mit Silikon abgedichtet werden . Die zu klebenden Stellen müssen staub- und fettfrei sein und die Montage muss exakt nach den Herstellerinstruktionen erfolgen (siehe Skizze Nr . 6) . Stützen Sie bitte die Waschbecken-Vorderseite vorerst behelfsmäßig ab, bis das Silikon und der Klebstoff ausreichend trocknen konnten (dieser Vorgang dauert mehrere Stunden) .

Bitte beachten Sie, dass innerhalb der Toleranzgrenze liegende Größenabweichungen bis zu 2 mm möglich sind, weil jedes Waschbecken gemäß Bestellung individuell hergestellt wird . Sollten nach der Montage noch weitere Fliesen- oder Spiegelmontagearbeiten anstehen, muss das Waschbecken zum Schutz abgedeckt werden .

Pose au murAssurez-vous que les murs sont assez solides à la hauteur de la table de toilette pour supporter la charge . Pour garantir la stabilité du plan de toilette, la capacité des murs à supporter la charge correspondante doit être vérifiée ! Certains matériaux de construction en plâtre peuvent ne pas remplir cette condition . On peut y remédier en recourant à des renforts (schéma no 5) .

Les lavabos doivent être collés pour éviter tout déplacement . Appliquer une colle de construction adéquate sur les équerres et sur l’arrière de la surface du lavabo reposant sur les supports . Les interstices entre le lavabo et le mur doivent être comblés par du silicone . Les endroits à encoller doivent être exempts de poussière et de graisse ; suivre les instructions du fabricant (schéma no 6) . Utiliser des supports temporaires pour soutenir l’avant du lavabo pendant les quelques heures nécessaires au séchage de la colle ou du silicone .

Il convient de noter que les tolérances dimensionnelles peuvent aller jusqu’à 2 mm, chaque lavabo étant fabriqué individuellement à la demande . Couvrir le lavabo si des travaux de carrelage ou de pose de miroir doivent être effectués après son installation .

Eumar Standard overflow (code: 80200-001) is included in every washbasin package by default or none if washbasin respected model you select do not require it .If you wish an overflow with neutral cap cover please order upgrade of overflow set by selecting code: 80200-008 . Chrome plated overflow cap hide the hole and add a look to the product . The cap is easily removable for cleaning .

Die Eumar Standard Überlaufgarnitur (Bestellnummer: 80200-001) gehört automatisch zum Lieferumfang jedes Waschbeckens, außer in dem Fall, wenn das ausgewählte Modell den Überlauf nicht benötigt . Die verchromte Überlaufabdeckung verdeckt das Loch und veredelt das Aussehen des Produktes . Die Abdeckung kann für Reinigungszwecke unkompliziert abgenommen werden .

Waste valve plugs / Ablaufventile / Bonde

Waste valve plugs are not included and should be ordered separately . If you have planed to use a faucet with included pop-up waste plug, You do not need any waste valve plugs to be ordered . Depending on the application of use you may select either closable plugs or non-closable . If product should be installed in hotels, hospitals or any other commercial and public toilets, clos-able feature might be not so important or even undesirable .On your choice there are 2 types of Standard waste plugs, either with white or chrome plated ending part underneath of the washbasin . We recommend selecting regular white if washbasin goes on the cabinet or in another way if plumbing connection will remain invisible and chrome plated for washbasins for open and visible area of plumbing connection .

Ablaufventile sind im Lieferumfang der Waschbecken nicht enthalten und sollten extra bestellt werden . Falls Sie eine Mischbatterie mit einem inkludierten Pop-Up-Ablaufventil verwenden möchten, müssen Sie kein zusätzliches Ablaufventil bestellen . Je nach dem ausgewählten Produkt können Sie Ablaufventile mit oder ohne Schließfunktion aussuchen . In Hotels, Krankenhäusern oder anderen öffentlichen Toiletten kann die Schließfunktion unwichtig oder sogar unerwünscht sein .Zur Auswahl stehen 2 Typen der Standardablaufventile, entweder mit einem weißen oder einem verchromten Teil unter dem Waschbecken . Wir empfehlen die weiße Ausführung, falls das Waschbecken auf einem Unterschrank montiert wird und die Installationen unsichtbar bleiben, und die verchromte Ausführung, falls die Unterseite des Waschbeckens sichtbar bleibt .

Suivant l’utilisation projetée, vous pouvez choisir une bonde fermable ou non fermable . Si le produit est destiné à être installé dans les toilettes publiques d’un hôtel, d’un hôpital ou d’un local commercial, une bonde fermable n’est pas nécessaire ; elle peut même être déconseillée . In most common cases we recommend a space saving model PR32 . This trap is very convenient in use and save a lot of space under the washbasin . It allows you to locate trap against the back wall and on the side of cabinet if you wish . The trap is adjustable in any direction (height, width, and distance to the back wall or at diagonal direction) . This trap also has washing machine connection which can be used .

In den meisten Fällen empfehlen wir unser platzsparendes Modell PR32 . Dieser Siphon ist sehr praktisch und nimmt unter dem Waschtisch sehr wenig Platz ein . Auf Wunsch kön-nen Sie den Siphon an der Rückwand oder an der Seite des Unterschranks anbringen . Der Siphon ist in alle Richtungen verstellbar (Höhe, Tiefe, Wandnähe oder auch diagonal) und ist mit einer zusätzlichen Verbindung versehen, falls noch eine Waschmaschine angeschlossen werden soll .

Eumar’s range has also washbasins adapted for people with reduced mobility . Those certain washbasins should be produced and installed considering some rules: the top of the washbasin should be posi-tioned at a maximum height of 850 mm and there should be a free area at least 300 mm deep, at a height of 700 mm, underneath the washbasin to allow easy access for wheelchair users . Please check the appropriate washbasins in the application finder on page 131 .

Die Produktpalette von Eumar beinhaltet auch adaptierte Waschtische für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität . Diese Waschtische müssen gewissen Regeln entsprechend hergestellt und montiert werden: die Oberkante des Waschbeckens soll maximal 850 mm über dem Boden liegen und unter dem Waschtisch soll sich ein mindestens 300 mm tiefer und 700 mm hoher Freiraum befinden, um den Rollstuhlfahrern beque-men Zugang zu gewähren . Geeignete Waschbeckenmodelle finden Sie in der Tabelle auf der Seite 131 .

Le catalogue Eumar comporte également des lavabos adaptés aux personnes à mobilité réduite . Ces lavabos doivent respecter certains critères de production et d’installation : le point le plus haut du lavabo doit se trouver à une hauteur maximale de 850 mm, et un espace libre d’au moins 300 mm de profondeur et 700 mm de hauteur doit être réservé sous le lavabo pour faciliter l’accès aux personnes en fauteuil roulant . Quality guaranteeThe Company gives 2 years guarantee to all the goods purchased . This guarantee only applies to products which:• Are installed in accordance with the fitting

instructions supplied with the products by the professional;

• Are maintained in accordance with mainte-nance instructions supplied with the products .

This guarantee is limited to the value of the product and does not cover transport, removal and installation costs for replaced product . The warranty also does not include the damage caused by improper installation, store and usage, as well as the results of careless handling, exposure to extreme temperatures and aggressive chemical agents, such as strong solvents, acids, lye etc .Due to the distinctive characteristics of the given ma-terial, small variations in terms of colour and texture may occur . The same counts for minor irregularities, which will be not visible from a distance of 90 centi-meters . Eventual faults on the surface of the backside of the product, which will remain invisible after the installation, are also not taken into account .Due to the distinctive characteristics of the given material, bellow tolerance of material could appear and not considered as manufacture defects:Length -0/+3 mm; plane bending -1,5/+1,5 mm; Angles: L< 500 mm ./0,5 mm, L> 500 mm ./1,0 mm; faucet and overflow hole -1/+1 mm .

Colours of sample sets are merely an indication Any quality claims should be forwarded in writing at once upon the appearance of such quality im-perfections . Manufacturer defects will be accepted and reim-bursed on receipt of corresponding proof (e .g . digital photo) .In case of any eventual faults discovered, according to our preferences, the product will be replaced with a reasonable time of the goods recognized to be faulty and without any other charge than carriage for the said goods or corrected at the discretion of the manufacturer or become a subject of the reduction of invoiced price .

OrdersOrders must always be made in writing; telephone or other verbal orders are executed at the Buyer’s risk . Orders received directly or through the medium of our agents, representatives or employees only become definite after express and written order confirmation by our company .On Buyer’s request any order may be subject to the return of an acknowledgement of receipt within a given time . PricesUnless otherwise stated in our offers or order con-firmations our prices always apply „Ex works” and are subject to custom charges, delivery and insur-ance cost and value added tax as applicable on the delivery date . Value added tax is shown separately on the invoice . The goods to be dispatched will only be insured by us on request and at the Buyer’s cost . Packing is included in the price of consignments . In case of increase of the price of raw materials or in the cost of labour for products ordered and in case such increase occurs between placing the order and the date of delivery, the Company is entitled to pass such increases either partly or fully on the rates in force on the day of order confirmation . The agreed price may also be modified in presence of new fiscal clauses . Unless express, written and special agreement to the contrary, discounts and rebates granted to the Buyers are temporary and specific to each individual case . Accordingly, the Company reserves the right to modify or suppress such grants at any moment .

PaymentsPayment and terms are stated in order confirmation . Payments are due starting from the invoice date . Time of payment shall be of the essence . No payment shall be deemed to have been received until the Company has received cleared funds . If the Buyer is in delay of payment for previous in-voices covering completed shipments, the Company is entitled to postpone further deliveries until all due payments have been received, or until a down-payment of the purchase price has been received, or withdraw from the contract . For payments delayed for more than 14 days interests will be charged 0,5 % per day of the total amount due . Payments made by non-Estonian resident or compa-ny shall be done by international bank transfers only .

Deliveries and shipmentThe date of the delivery marked on the Order Con-firmation indicates the date when the goods will be ready for the dispatch from our stock . Please bear in mind the time for transportation . If a prepayment is demanded with the order, the

time of delivery runs as from the day after receipt of this prepayment . Delay in delivery shall neither entail cancellation of orders or purchases for account nor entitle to any penalty or indemnity .The delivery period has been met if the consignment has been dispatched within the delivery period or there has been notification that the consignment is ready for dispatch . If the delivery is delayed for reasons for which the Buyer is responsible, the agreed delivery period is deemed to have been met on noti-fication that the consignment is ready for dispatch .The shipment shall be accepted and picked up from our stock within 3 days after receiving of an acknowl-edgment .The Buyer must check the goods immediately upon receipt, count the packages, check the condition of the packages before accepting the shipment and submit complaints for any possible damages within 7 days from receipt of the goods . Tolerances in quantities delivered shall be permissible if they are in a reasonable proportion to the total quantity (plus/minus 10%)Transportation of the goods can only be done on the pallets fixed with the bandagedThe packages shall be stored upwards to the direction marked on the package by “arrows” .Eventual complaints of any type must be notified in writing within 8 days upon receipt of the goods . Complaints concerning defects and substandard quality will lead to replacement of the product that we deem defective . Reservation of titleAll goods delivered in terms of these General Condi-tions of Sale and Delivery shall remain the property of the Company until full payment of all relevant outstanding amounts .The risks for the goods delivered are transferred to the Buyer upon delivery of the goods sold with reservation of title . The Buyer shall be responsible for any damage caused to the goods as from delivery, be responsible for their preservation, maintenance and use at his own expenses and own risk .DisputesShould a dispute arise concerning the contractual compliance etc . of the goods purchased, the parties will do their utmost to solve such disputes in mutual negotiations . Genauso werden etwaige optische Fehler auf der Rückseite des Produkts, die nach der Montage nicht sichtbar sind, nicht als Mängel berücksichtigt .Aufgrund der Besonderheiten des Materials gelten folgende Abweichungen als unterhalb der Toleranz-grenze des Materials liegend und werden daher nicht als Fertigungsdefekte berücksichtigt:Länge -0 / +3 mm; Durchbiegung -1,5 / +1,5 mm; Winkel: L <500 mm / 0,5 mm, L >500 mm / 1,0 mm; Armatur- und Überlauflöcher -1 / +1 mm .
