Meet your new City Manager!
Hi! I’m Mary Bourbina, I am thrilled to be onboard working
for the City. For 28 years, I have had the privilege of making
memories here, while my husband and I were raising our
family. Now I have the opportunity to experience Zilwaukee
as my employer. The past 7 weeks have been exciting as I
have been getting to know the Council and the employees of
the City.
It is great to be able to use my educational background for
the benefit of the City. Both my undergraduate and graduate
degrees are SVSU, in Communication/Business and Public
Administration. My past work experience was with the
Saginaw Public School District as an Academic
Interventionist and Substitute Teacher.
It is a humbling experience to be your City Manager and if I
have not had the chance to meet you, please, stop by the office
and introduce yourself. The City has a terrific team and we
are all looking forward to working together to continue
moving Zilwaukee forward.
